I love all fields of science (geochemist). I take my dog (avatar) for a 3-5 mile walk everyday and I workout at least 3 days a week. I have a 6 ft. aquarium. This is the only forum I am a member of.

I sort of collect hobbies. I read (mostly sci fi and fantasy) listen to podcasts (Psudo pod, and escape pod, EXELLENT short stories) crochet (mostly little stuffed animals and hats), write, take pictures, bellydance, quilt, sew, draw, paint, bake, and practice being a better mom to my two girls. When we lived on base I also volenteered for a lot of the military spouse stuff. I'm taking this year off, but I also am taking classes so I can (evnetually) be a laughter therapist.
My husband is supportive of my hobbies- we've even made small amounts of money off some of them. Although I think he's just happy I'm happy.

I love to play golf. I used to read a LOT, but have become addicted to audio books. My audible library is reaching the size of my real one. I enjoy spending time with my wife at the local winery when the weather is good. I have two cats that I adore and I try to play guitar from time to time.

I do the RPG's too! Wicked awesome! You should look-up 'The Gamers: Dorkness Rising'! There are certain traits common to all RPG-ers it appears.

Interesting fact about me... When I translated my name to Japanese in HS, it became 'Kurisu'; roughly meaning 'The Pain of the Squirrel'. Now that is my nickname. I have the kanji tattooed on my arm (Harley Quinn got the other one )

Have 2 wonderful girls I'm looking into getting custody of... and I'm a proud power nerd!

+1 about the "used to be" and I'm lol about the lol.

I'm: 57, married, one grown daughter (lives in the UK) 2 glorious grandsons, one wonderful cat and I'm working in my 3rd or 4th career. Used to be big in sailing but now I'm landlocked (western NC). I only belong to this one forum.

Yup! Mum and pop have lived there for the last 6 years or so and we all 3 did back in '94-'98. Loved it! Just visited them for Xmas, took a trip down to Khrabi (beautiful area) but then had to come back to NH at 2am on Jan 2 and it was...snowing

have to big dogs.....luke..doberman ,who keeps the crack heads at bay, and enjoys are 1/2 acer lot that has a six foot fence now because he could jump over the 4 foot one like a dear......he doesn't like motorcycles and jumped the fence once and almost pulled a guy off his harly......i was almost sure i was about to get my ... kicked....jake is our new black lab....he is older ...7...and much calmer so he lives in the house with my three beautiful girls 7,5,and 2, whom he guards at all times. i fish and enjoy the wet lands. audio books all the way, and the hard core history pod cast is awesome....hate tv and refuse to pay holly wood for movies until they get off the communism trip.....they should be paying me to watch that crap...we home school our oldest due to political influence in the public schools....proud gun owner.."from my cold dead hands". we garden and raise chickens and rabbits for food, but were not "food independent yet"....and i love to tinker with projects all day long.....but not with out having a safety meeting first..
