Yeah it is from Apollo..the sale was the main reason I got another LT for the time being. That and I already have 3 sets of IMR 18650 batteries. An entire kit from there, though, is a little over $50 and the tube itself was $32 I believe.

Wísh they weren't sold out of the chrome ones, I would spend the extra 10 for the look

Yeah when I grabbed mine, I was shooting for the SS, chrome or even the brass one..to no avail. There is the 3 aluminum tube colors left I think, in both mini and regular sizes. Haven't checked in a week or so, though..

You should also take note on the warranty/return info with both companies..the MV Box has a 30 day (also have never ordered from here, so I don't know how well their CS is), and the Ovale doesn't have a warranty, per-se, but Eric at DV is a cool guy and as long as the unit wasn't purchased 8 months to a year prior, he should hook it up with a replacement as long as he has them in.

I'll make a decision one of these days.

Silly question, can I buy these batteries and chargers at the locally battery stores any cheaper than online?

Are you talking like Interstate Battery or something similar? My guess is it won't be cheaper and they probably don't have the high drain batteries..chargers should work as long as they have the proper ratings, but I have yet to have seen one that wasn't overpriced. I have a couple of chargers that I purchased from vendors and I paid less for both of them, then some of the ones I have seen in a store. If you get the VTube kit from Apollo, you are looking at $20 for a case, battery (only 1 oddly enough, drip tip, atomizer and a charger. I personally don't like the chargers that come with that kit. I had 1 like that from my first LT kit and I ended up setting it aside for an emergency. It has some protection built in to prevent "over charging" the battery, even though they are supposed to be charged to around 4.1-4.2. That charger stops at 3.7 or 3.8 which is about 75-80% charged. I don't like the kit here, now that I look at it..but you could grab the tube here at $32 shipped and then grab a pair of bats and a better charger for about $20.

Ya wasn't quite digging the single slot battery charger at apoll, and the fact it only came with one battery.

Yeah, I didn't realize that until I took a closer look at it. Every kit that I have seen comes with 2, assumed they did as well..but for $50, one could easily grab another bat or 3 somewhere else and still come in less than any kit out there. But it is still the same price as the MV box or the Ovale, minus bats, so you are still breaking even. Apollo does have the trustfire charger at their site, $15 though, and the high drain bats at $9/each..that will still net you free shipping rather than ordering the bats/charger from another site and paying shipping on top of that..although at hoosier I think it's only $4 flat..so that is only $1 less that ordering everything at Apollo. The free shipping at Apollo is 7 day ground..however, I got mine in 3 days. Also take in consideration Apollo's 1 year warranty on everything you buy and a 30 day no questions asked return policy..

How's everyones day going, this place sucks more and more life out of me each day, especially after a day like yesterday.

On top of it all, i just burned my french pipe carto, ten drags into a fill. Don't know why I am so hard on cartos.

So far, so good..been productive, got a lot of work done, hit the gym, did some more mixing and now am sitting in my chair doing nothing!

What cartos are you using? And I hate to ask, but you did go through proper filling and soaking? Don't hate me..I managed to do that once even though I knew better, just got distracted.

I feel your pain. A filled a new carto today (first of 10 that I just received from liberty flights) and burnt taste from the get-go.
I've been running some sweet.heavy flavored juices in it to try and mask the burnt taste, and It's helping, but that burnt taste is still lurking.

Hope all 10 don't have this issue.

Which cartos did you get from there? I have only had 1 carto do that thus far. Filled it, let it set overnight..next day threw it on my PV, fired it up and POOF! toasted..

SmokTech has been having some major QC issues as of late. I still have a few of the tank cartos from them, they are still running, but got them before the bad stuff started showing up. Some are basically DOA and others have a funky chemical taste. Don't know if that has changed, but that was the buzz a couple of months ago..

Drip and soak, drip until it leaks. Put the condoms on until I'm ready to use. Then blow them out and vape. That is my procedure new and old carto.

For all intents and purposes, try doing the spin method as well..it helps make sure that everything is saturated. Although if you are over filling, allowing them to sit and blowing them out..in all rights, they should be fine. Well I never expect much from a carto, they are sold as single use typically, so if I go through 10ml I'm a happy camper. Now the handful that have ran for over a month, there is something to be grateful for!
