I agree..not a lot of people are that "interested" in vaping like some of us that hang around in the forums, discuss our equipment (Shut up, Hawk!), talk about DIY and are actually into it as a hobby. That is the drawback of bringing in others..even though it might open up the world and give them other people, with similar interests, to teach them or just get their feet wet..they don't have the interest, cause it's not in their face everyday like tobacco companies and such. But I do think your idea of Craigs List ,or something similar, might be a good start.

I have enjoyed success getting my friends and family off of tobacco, but they don't have any interest in joining the forum. But if there was a gathering evey once and a while, I think they would come. I don't know how much they would buy, but everyone needs new Batts and atties.

I have been running a co-op Diy for over two years and my group may want to buy other flavors in limited quantities if we could get together and share samples.

Well, the more, the merrier..It takes a village. A co-op DIY, eh? That sounds interesting..

Yeah, it has been fun. I have been able to try tons of flavors and we have lowered our costs tremendously. I am mixing all of our juice, and sometimes it takes up a lot of time. But we'll worth it.

I bet that does get time consuming, but yeah, well worth it indeed. I personally really enjoy mixing and coming up with new ideas.

I have mixed over 6000 ml, I wonder how many hours?

I am always looking for new combinations, but since it is not all my money I have to think before I waste.

I wish I just had a better understanding, would love to be mixing my own as well, the co-op idea sounds like a great way for experienenting, and expanding on a flavor if it is successful

Crap, that's a lot! I'll get there, but not for a while I suspect..

It was just my idea and I volunteered for the job. I was the one who did all the research. My friends don't seem to mind. With friends like mine..... What made you start mixing?

You're a good man!

I started, mainly, for the experience of it. The idea of playing around with everything and learning about PH levels, ratios, flavor combos, etc. was really appealing to me. My ol' lady then told me that if I can replicate a few of her favorites, she would "unleash" me. Well, we haven't had a desire to purchase "designer" liquids since. Still picking up new things and learning, but so far it has been rewarding.

It is actually fairly easy to start. There are several websites that have everything you need. But beware. Once you start, you will never stop.

I have a grasp on it,but I know eventually rather than just mixing flavor in nic, you have to get involved with the molecules to make it shine, and I don't have any idea on those yet.

I used to brew my own beer and wine, DIY is much the same I believe.

Yeah..I find myself obsessing already and don't foresee any end to my madness.

Beer, eh? I bet there would be several people willing to swap juice for beer.

From what little I know about brewing and wine making..it is quite similar in a lot of regards. Patience rules supreme is still number 1. Knowing about PH balance..buffers, different acids, etc. is essential in both as well..
