Those extentions are not that long and your going to have to cut the tube to make a window for the display. The display is already attached to the board so the options for placement will be limited.
Now if your not into the looks factor, you could cut the head unit slightly above the threads and find a piece of acrylic tube to press fit the head and nestle the chip and display in there only needing to make holes in the acrylic for the switch and adjustment controls
That's why I am opting for building a wood box for it
Id say you buy the chips I would buy the wood and other hardware. But I don't know when I will have access to my wood working equipment or if my idea will even work.

Even though I've been vaping for almost 2 years there is still so much stuff I don't know about, or things I've heard of but never actually seen or used. I've never used an rba. I've never really done any modding of anything. I pretty much found Volcano after buying a nicstic from wicked smoke and thinking there had to be something better. I looked around online for awhile and found Volcano. I had success with them and their hardware so I never really looked anywhere else. I would occasionally buy my liquids from other places, but I've never bought hardware from anywhere else.
Sorry for the long story....but I definitely need to do a lot more reading on here and start playing around with other hardware!!
Not sure what it exactly is, but guessing it is like a carto tank, but will use an atty instead. Not familiar with what the gg thingy you are referencing
It uses a carto or an atty in a tank system. Some sorta auto-feed system, I guess..pricey and possibly worth it
