[A search of the Liquidxpress forum for shelf life didn't turn up anything...wrong search term, perhaps?]

Hey Rob ... in the relatively short time I've been using e-cigs, I've heard several variations on the shelf-life theme: six months, a year, two years... don't refrigerate e-liquids, do refrigerate them, etc.etc.

I've thought every now and then about buying a relatively inexpensive wine cooler to keep 'juice' at maybe 50-55 degress F., but I don't know if it's really needed. I hear that nic liquids can break down on exposure to light. Dark storage is easy enough, but the recommended temperature for storage, I don't know about yet.

What do your suppliers have to say about these sorts of things? Advice appreciated...

Thanks,
Mike

Rob,

Thanks for the information.

75.4...seems pretty high -- noticeably higher than typical room temperature (in a temperate climate, at least). Is there some expected degradation at lower temps -- say, 55 degrees F. in some "non-extreme" device such as a wine cooler?

Mike

optimal temperature: 75.4

of course it's good to keep out of direct sunlight

and the manufacturer says 2 year shelf-life for nic liquid and while that may be true of the nicotine I'd have to say that after about 10months to a year, the flavors start to become dull.

Hope that answers your questions!

Rob
