So does anybody know the shelf life of the Sony vtc4 battery

I remember reading on here some time ago that vtc4 was good for about 300 charge discharge cycles. when it starts to go out you'll see a much faster decline in battery voltage.

Truth. Also how you charge your batteries can affect performance and life expectancy. If you use it until its dead and then recharge, versus constantly recharging when say only 50% power to get it back to 100%.

Sorry I should have been more specific I was wondering how long they can last in storage but thanks for the info guys
