I can deal with slight leaking an change to Organic cotton have several different types brands and Rayon an half Rayon cotton also , that can be played about with with each diffrent types of builds , But I can't deal with sliced fingers that affects smoothness of threads causing parts to jam having to freeze it to release them,
On a supposedly premium RTA well in premium price at least ,

Or the effects them cuts have on my hands for day to day life though, dam annoying cuts

Will be looking for some fine wet and Dry possibly ,
If u can do that an get a Glass tank for it might make it better.
But concidering the Supreme plus RDTA is being shipped out Now.

To me , its Also cheaper an with extra glass tanks in 3 sizes, an spares so will see if any of these might fit ?

Im guessing they will do better sales an production quality too, without slicing my hands up either ,

I like the deck on Sherman
I like the vape too ,

but really shouldn't have to now carry out my own work on it to make is safe to unscrew without slicing my fingers an thumbs on it ,

Which seems to be many of us who received this second latest batch that seems to have had little quality control on it or little anything that makes you feel bummed out an it was rushed out cheaply , Done

Not the hybrid, the Alpha 30mm BFT. One guy said he tried it and it was a little too small, but several other guys say it works on theirs. If you get one, let us know how it works out!
For the price of this tank you shouldn't have to go find a glass tank that is compatible.

This $97 (shipped) "Sherman" should be called the BIGGEST POS Waste of money! Cracked tall tank with out of stock spare parts. Paying $40 for a tall yellow glass and a wide bore DT on top of the 97 already spent is ....ing outrageous. And then to have the screw break while applying gentle force while tightening really ...... me off

Well no more sherman for me the plastic cracker without using any citrus juice and it still spills a drop every time i refill that I find really annoying!!
Yep, why I refuse to get a tank with a plastic tank. I see Tanks like this and even more expensive Tanks like the Doggy Style with plastic tanks, WTF?

ridiculous for the amount of money you pay, they should be quartz glass ya know .........

Hi guys just thought I would drop in and say I know afew people have had trouble with the Sherman, either the PMMA tanks cracking and some threading issues.

Now I know Tom the owner of Imperial Vape Co and the man behind Asylum Mods and have done for a few years and I can tell you that the reason behind the PMMA tank sections was because the whole Sherman idea beginning to end was funded by Tom without investment. He's basically I one man band trying to keep up.
So he poured his own money into it to get it going hence the small numbers produced. So it wasn't a case of make small numbers to keep the cost up it was purely a case of get as many made as he could afford to get made and still be able to pay the bills.
During the prototype phase we said Glass would be the better option but cost and the fact that the actual deck would need making up to 30mm instead of the intended 28mm again envolved more cost which wasn't affordable to get it off the ground.
Now this is the bit where people chime in with "Well if it ain't perfect don't sell it" "You should have QC'ed them better" kind of posts... Well to be honest I've watched the Sherman go from crappy drawings on a napkin to the full production run and then sit down and check each of the 500 odd units by his hands, And for it to be done off of one man's love for the Vape Industry and his life savings and not an industry giant I have to give the man a round of applause!
It's easy to poke holes in things when your the consumer but when you see the amount of hoops he's jumped through and still is trying to sort out customers with faulty tanks and threading you really have to hand it to the man.

The Sherman was a concept one that Tom made happen and apart from the niggles it's an absolutely amazing tank! I've had mine since well before general release and if anything I stopped dripping because of that tank.
It's completely changed my Vaping life.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion on the Sherman but reading through the comments I thought it was only fair you hear this side of the story.

Also if you have any questions related to the Sherman with wicking or building I'm happy to help and also any relating to later batches of the Sherman as to when they are released so you know ahead of time and all that jazz.

Have a great night Ladies and Gents.

Well that is fine but at the end of the day it comes down to spending a substantial amount of money and expecting quality. If this was a $20 Tank you wouldn't be getting the complaints about plastic tank and not being glass. But it's not a $20 tank, it's a $100 Tank and with that we expect some basic quality to go with that $100 price tag.

Had this tank for 2 weeks. Multiple builds. Followed youtube vids. Other peoples advice. I am completely disappointed with this tank. Big waste of time, money, and juice. Jumping through hoops and a rain dance to get this thing working. When it's all wicked and it's stopped leaking initially, it's great. Big vapor production, good taste, looks nice. All good, until you have to rewick or even refill.

Disassembly is a ......n nightmare. AFC spins and there's nothing to get a grip on for the bottom half. It's a big tank, why not add a couple of millimeters extra at the bottom? You wanna take the drip tip off to clean? Gonna have to push it through the other side with a flat head or another tool. Chimney was stuck on the top cap piece when it arrived, had to put it in the freezer and use pliers. Cut my hand up real good, so have lots of other people. When assembling the tank, had to lube up all the orings. Even then the top oring for the plastic tank doesn't sit flush, crooked. Seals, but crooked. Everytime I refill this tank juice comes out of the airflow holes. Yes, followed youtube vids and whatnot. Close off air flow, screw top cap on a bit and turn upside down, screw little bit, puff, screw, puff, $#@%! I'm not the only one experiencing these problems that's for sure.

Works good when all said and done. But $100+ for this tank.. and even more for the ultem piece that it should have come with. Feels like a slap to the face.

OH! Tom is awesome btw. The way he deals with people and customer's is top notch. The way any company/business should be

No parts allowed
well i totally agree that tom is a great guy and this is a great rta. but...
this is my constructive criticism..
1) there was no need for this "fiasco" lists on Facebook ...
2) this thin plastic is unacceptable its not functional and i am concerned about the way it degrades so easy (is it safe? does it contaminates the juice that i am vaping?)
3)threads could have been better any maybe not so many
4) wicking could have been easier/better i think the kidney shape causes the leaking? Maybe the wick channel should have been extended to reach the bottom of the wicks and not the side these are only guesses and i am not an expert in any way.
5) if funding was the problem then there are ways to short this out (pre orders etc etc)
Don't get me wrong i love the flavour and the vape of this thing but i think it was rushed.

Tom posted this today, I'm pretty sure that the two complete chimneys thing is to avoid the problem that some guys had in getting the chimney apart:

Next batch of Sherms will be available in around a week.

Ultem large and small sections will be supplied as standard. PMMA has been discontinued. Also two chimney sections will be supplied in full.

Would be great if "Tom" could send me a replacement tank for free, being my tall tank cracked and a friggin post screw broke in Half while lightly tightening my coil. So now I have to find a way to remove the broken half stuck in my atomizer....
