shocking experience

Hey everyone - I had a shocking experience this weekend, Literally! I was vaping out of a SCTv2 tank when it failed and flooded my EGO-T 1100. I had my lips on an aluminum tip and got a cheek tingling, hair raising shock by the time I noticed the juice level was gone! Has this ever happened to anyone else? Kind of freeked me out for a while. needless to say I'm not using tips made of ANY metal again!

Haven't used, but am aghast at your experience -- won't be going metal in new toys, for sure!

Have never heard of that tank but I'm guessing the metal drip tip had nothing to do with the problem. If it's a carto/ tank system it may have been a pressure problem within the tank.

I had that happen with a cartomizer from Smoktek. I don't know if it was actually a "smoktech" carto or a generic "smoktek" because the posts on these look different that all "Smoktech" carto's I had in the past. Needless to say since half of them leak, not flooded either, I'll stay away from these in the future.

Id say metal tips could cause the problem or buy an American made Mod! You get what you pay for.

Probably a combination of 1) cheap plastic tank 2) cheap chinese battery 3) metal tip.

Thank you for posting this, it may save others from the same fate. I use a plastic drip tip on my eGo and cheap tank
