I got the same thing. auto confirm and all. lets see if you get the package. as for the posting theres a first time for everything. as i said they obviously did not care to keep a customer. potentially large one.

is it common practice to publicly attack someones character in these forums? Especially without the decency of finding out the whole story?

im quite offended..... What a way to welcome the newcomer

Ignore that.

Methinks there's a whiff of eau de troll about the OP.
All suppliers drop the ball from time to time and mess up - but from what I hear of TW it's a rarity.
I ordered from them at 6.30AM today - got an auto confirmation of order in less than 5 minutes and the shipping confirmation WITH tracking number by midday.

Well, lets hope you never have an issue with your shipment.

To answer your question, no, it's not common practice and I am sorry if you were offended. But by the same token, it is not common practice to lurk here for more than two years and then your very first post to be a slam against an established supplier.

You had a bad experience - I hope it works out for you in the end. If it doesn't, well get over it and move on.

again whats with the misguided hostility? who has been lurking here? All i was doing was posting my experience to make others aware. its evident there are some other underlying issues at hand here

In my three years of vaping experience and i still consider my self a neophyte. i have had nothing but bad experiences with their hardware and products in the past that were given to me from another relative vaper that i assume also did not like their stuff.

but

time has passed and i thought id give them a chance. Im sure they make some good products. Just not customer friendly or supportive

Sometimes it's better just to move along and not post at all.

Would it really be better for the OP to just "get over it and move on?" I find it very hard to believe that this is a reasonable solution, given that TW has had a few complaints recently. There isn't anything in the forum rules saying that anyone is required to post and there certainly isn't anything saying that the first post can't be a complaint. The OP has every right to post this complaint without being attacked for either lurking for so long or for making his first post a complaint.

This sort of knee jerk response is exactly the reason why so many of us are afraid to post complaints or negative reviews against suppliers, juice and hardware.

I could careless about the length of time versus posts issue that is going on here. Not all people post like the rest due to whatever reason. Some join and just read. So with that being said, I can't stand TW either. Not because of shipping but because I had an issue with a pack of atomizers I bought back in Dec when their yo-yo sale was going on. 901's to be exact. Several of them were DOA. Opened a ticket about it 4 times in 2 days and never heard a word. After that, I refuse to deal with them. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. There won't be a twice from me.

Hey Malletme.... to be quite honest.... this is the only furum site that I have found where this sort of behavior is NOT common practice, however apperently it does occur. Please dont let this clowd your view of ECF as most here are very helpfull and happy people.

I'm having problems with another company who is supposedly usually excellent with customer service. I've been waiting 24 days and my emails are being ignored. It would just be nice to get a reply and some reassurance, but instead it's just silence. I don't really want to make a fuss in case I get black-listed or something. All I really want is the products that I paid for and have been so looking forward to getting.

    in a cave, eh?

I was following the second thread. The poster had a problem with the tank system. He could not get the leaking issues fixed to his satisfaction. After numerous attempts to fix the problem with customer service, they agreed to take his kit back and replace it with a Screwdriver. I think he came out ahead in the end. (Unless you can put a price on the aggravation he suffered trying to get his issue resolved).

Just keep trying. You may never want to use them again, but someone there should be able to fix up your order.

    Good luck.

I've been ordering from TW since around February. I honestly haven't had any problem with them.

The OP's post in the TW subforum has been removed, but as I recall, he posted the same complaint in mulitple forums. I also saw where their CS rep attempted to contact him off-forum, but apparently he was more interested in slamming TW.

I'm not about to get into an argument over this, I'm really very sorry the OP had such a bad experience, but from what I saw, TW tried to work with him, but he wouldn't work with them.

Flame me all you want (I have my asbestos suit on), but I just feel like the record should be set straight. And for what it's worth, I'm not affliated with TW in any way, I just hate to see only one side of a disagreement shouted out to the world.

BTW, I made 2 separate orders from TW earlier this evening, received confirmation within 5 minutes, and if past performance is any indication, I'll have a tracking number by tomorrow afternoon.

    Just sayin'

I agree that the OP should keep trying to get the problem resolved. However, I am also of the mind that the customer shouldn't have to jump through hoops to do it. I have an unbelievable amount of patience. I have to because I work in legal database repository support for a company that supports law firms and attorneys across the country, but even my patience has a limit. The OP has waited far longer than I would for his order to arrive and has received very little help from TW. I find this to be completely unacceptable and I would cancel the purchase with my CC or bank and not order from them again. Period.

I've already expressed my opinion on how the OP was treated in this thread, so I won't rehash that. I'll leave at this: I expect better out of our members and I hope that their comments haven't chased the OP off for good.

I've had problems with shipments from some well respected suppliers, contacted the vendors and received immediate responses. They helped work through the problems (even though the problem was with USPS) There is no excuse for an unresponsive customer service department / person in vaping or any other purchases, over the internet or in person.
