I've been trying to convert a buddy of mine who happens to be blind and a very heavy smoker for a while now. He ignored my advice and went out and purchased a Blu starter kit. As I was expecting, he complained about the lack of a hit and the short life of the batteries.
I was over his place a few weeks ago watching him struggle so I grabbed one of his cartridges and scewed it to my X6 backup battery. It was a completely different experience and he's bugging me to sell him my back for the last few weeks.
The X6 is probably not the easiest battery for a blind person and I didn't want to sell him a used battery, so I picked up an inexpensive eGo-C Twist. I can't say I enjoyed the Blu carts, but he seems to enjoy them and it's certainly easier.
Before dropping off the eGo, I figured I'd charge it and use it for a few hours in case he had any questions. Now I'm wondering if I should drop it off since I am pretty darn impressed with it.
While I doubt it could double as a hammer, like my MVP or X6, it sure seems well worth the low cost. Somehow I have the sense that it might pick one up for myself for days when I'm tired of walking around with a brick in my pocket.
