Since you're a verified member, try checking the classified section. Lately, Precises have been popping up on there fairly frequently. Dons and Steals can be found there on occasion too. Personally, I would recommend the Precise+, but the GGs and the Don/Mako/Mini are great PVs too.

As for your frustration about sites not listing the size...that's probably because the battery that the mod utilizes is already a good indicator of what the overall dimension of the mod will be.

Here is a pic of my ICON V1.1 from PureSmoker.com with a DCA306 on it. I don't have a tank to show you what a tank would look like, but I pocket this thing around all day everyday. It uses a 14500 battery.

The Alpha is definitely a contender, just wish they would publish their specs. Only way to tell how long these things are is by guessing based upon what battery they take. Oddly enough battery online sites do tell you the dimensions of the batteries. The Alpha appears to be a reasonable bit larger than the Precise 18350 or the Don in small mode, but also a whole lot cheaper.

The Icon doesn't look too bad worth a further look, just wish they didn't have the tapered top, although it probably looks better that way with anything but a tank on it.

The alpha is certainly a rock solid mod and I love mine - approximate measurements are just over 95mm long , diameter about 20mm. However I'm not sure it is ideal for a tank as the switch operates by pulling the top part down - so it is a two finger job if you cannot get your finger on the top of it!

Thanks for the info, especially about the switch, that probably is a deal breaker. Was also looking at the Coppers but they have a unusual switch as well.

Anyone familiar with the Saber, specifically the Mini from vapermoon? Home Page They have some really cool colors, but I am totally unfamiliar with this device and its reputation.

I have both the Precise+ 18350 & 18650, and i honestly cant find a negative about them.

P+18350 with a 306 fits perfectly in my hand,
Works well with tanks,
the firing button locks, so its pocket/bag friendly.
& because of the construction of this Stainless steel mechanical mod, i don't see it ever failing... but that is just my opinion.

* and once EVOLV come out with the Kick, my P+18650 will be a beast!

Many great PV's in this thread were mentioned, which ever you choose, im sure you will be happy with :vapor:

I know you asked for a recessed 510 connection, but for under $24, the MadVapes 3.7V 2xAA 510 BoxMod with changing LED is small and stealthy, has an on/off switch, a horn button on the front, & uses a single 14500 battery. It's surprisingly sturdy, I have several 808-D/901 and 510 variations and love them for pocket/outdoor use. Plus at that price you can buy a couple, buy all the juice, tanks, cartos, attys, and batteries you'd need and still wouldn't break $100. Just something to think about..........

Don't overlook the Mako Midi, It's a pretty handy little PV. Click on the notify when in stock link.
I'm going down there in a little while, I can ask Jason when he will have them if you like.
They also have The Don, they're like a hun & a quarter tho.
Mako Midi V2 (it's actually the "V3" tho)

The Mako Midi measures 3.54'' / 0.71'', Minno is 2.05'' / 0.71'', by the way.

They are available in England, if you don't mind ordering there: Mako Midi V3 - Moju Republic. There are also pictures of them with various atties / cartos, including a tank - the latter seems to look great judging from the picture.

You can buy a Midi or Minno set and add the Minno or Midi sleeve (interchangeable) to that, so you essentially get two different mods almost at the price of one...

Here they are, alongside an Indulgence v3 each (the Minno IS tiny, especially when you use it with a 510 atty or similar - the atties on the photo are much bigger than that):

These are very well built, have the desired connection type and an extremely convenient button (identical to the Don's), I would definitely recommend them.

The precise line does look pretty sex in a bucket, although they're really expensive

I've got the altsmoke alpha, I use madvapes shorty 510 extender and the smoktech DCT tanks, works great. The small extender gives you room for your thumb without making it a pipebomb sized device. Wish it was thinner, but it's rock solid. The icon looks like a great choice too, I think I'll be getting one of those soon :vapor:

The Mako Midi looks like a top contender based on my criteria. Had it been readily available in the US I may have bought one before I ever looked far enough to find the P+. Unfortunately after looking at the P+ I just had to have one, even at $170.

The Alpha appears to be a solid device, it was eliminated when I figured out how big it was.

I now have an Infinity Pro, very nice VV device but to awkward to carry comfortably around in my pocket. Now I will soon have the P+. I don't think I'll be tempted to buy another mod for awhile. Unless they come with a Provari or Darwin that is a little more sporty or classy. I just don't want to be sucking on something that looks like a power tool (Provari) or a piece of electronics testing equipment (Darwin). Now cross a Darwin with a P+ and you would have something out of this world. And no, a wattage hack that you stick in the battery compartment doesn't cut it.

I say no matter what you do get an SD Keyring, it packs a big punch in a teeny package, and the price makes it worth it! This little thing is much more than a novelty, it is fun and effective!

I have to ditto the SD keyring, it might never be my main device, but I keep it fully charged in my purse for times that even an ego would get noticed. I would never direct drip on it, since it is an unsealed auto battery, but a regular silver carto on it and it's good to go! I haven't tested battery duration simply because I won't vape on it for a full day without missing my HV mod, but I don't have to charge it but once a week while using it daily as a backup during my drive to the gym and back.

Roughstack looks good if you are not a tank user, the button placement is totally impractical for use with a tank.

That and I now boycott the store who sells them for lack of customer service, if they won't back up a $10 tank I wouldn't want to have an issue with a $45 mod.

Good point about the tank issue. I use a 510-510 extention and use my tank nicely on the roughstack. The new tube mods from madvapes have a side button which should solve that problem.
