Call it the cynic in me, but posts like this scream ANTZ. I wouldn't put it past them to sign up, make a post like this, and then point to all the responses who suggest that vaping is just fine for someone who doesn't smoke.

Message to the OP. No. It's not fine. Don't start.

Message to everyone who says it's fine. Yeah. Right.

It's your body, you wanna give it a new addiction that's your call. If you made it to your adult life without a nicotine addiction I would recommend keeping it that way though. As for getting "high", nicotine will get you about as high as a cup of coffee does and that buzz feeling stops pretty quick. But as you said it does have a calming effect, so if that's something you're looking for and don't mind the new addiction then have at it.

I'm not going to say go for it, no of course I'd rather you didn't gt yourdelf addicted to nicotine and, if you aren't hooked on the stuff, there's no reason to start vaping.

That said, how many time did most of us here hear "Don't start smoking." before we did start smoking? Face it, people start smoking despite being told the risks and how bad it is for you, that it's addictive and so on and, people will start vaping despite being told all of it too.

While I'd rather the OP didn't take up vaping and, very probably get addicted to nicotine, it isn't illegal (YET at least) and, while we don't know all the risks yet, it is better than smoking analogs so, if you are going to do it, then do your research on gear, vendors and juice. Know the facts and, don't waste your money on junk you'll want to replace in a week.

Well, vaping is a tool that many of us have used to get off analogs. It has nothing to do with "getting high" or doing drugs. If you're curious about it, please do some research first. I would urge you not to start vaping with nicotine if you're not already addicted to it. If you are determined to try, I'd go with a 0mg e-liquid.
