Should Passthru work with usb car charger?

I just picked this IPAD (not IPOD) charger up at Walmart for $29-ish... Comes with wall + car adapter.
Works great... WAY faster vapor production... No more long/slow draw... Short quick draw for same (even better) effect.

This one is rated 5v / 2.1A, and works GREAT!
I previously tried straight USB connect to an old PC, and performance was same or less than a battery.

So I decided to try a hotter adapter such as this 2.1A set...
From what I've come across, IPOD adapters run @ lower ma than IPAD adapters.

The car ones work at 1200 mah 5v for KR808 , the wall ones seem to need 2000 mah.

i used a wall charger from my thunderbolt rated at 1000mah and it worked great on my kr8 passthrew, dunno if i was getting true 5v but was a little better then plugging it into my pc. just wish i woulda stuck with using that instead of my laptop
