Should we go back to carto tanks?

The BVC revolution had me thinking again of carto tanks. Although I hated everything about them, it would be swell if someone redesigned carto tanks. The tech has always been there, what have makers been doing wrong?

I'm thinking a tank that allows a carto to be screwed in, like the nautilus base, with a top oring cap, and a driptip like the old carto tanks. To refill, simply remove the top cap. Use cheapo cartos with grooves, tubes and topcaps are already out there. Ceramic filling cartos have been around for a while, without the slots.

There is a way out of Nautilus badly made heads...

I don't know, they'd really have to prove it to me this time around. When mine worked, I loved it, but that didn't happen often enough.

I'll see that and raise you a 'lost recipe for making decent cartos'. I gave away three or four carto tanks I had.

I spent TOO MANY years dealing with cartos. I can't EVER imagine going back, no matter HOW MUCH they improved them.

The Nautilus BVC heads have convinced me to put my long time reliable friends, SmokTech DCTs, into my VAC (Vapor Apocalypse Cache). Don't get me wrong. I'll ever be grateful for their 'duty'.

I think someone will really have to 'step up' to better the BVCs!

Some of us never left the carto-tank. After at least trying everything else once, I keep returning to my carto happy place. However, to each their own.

I've never left 'em. Filling them with 1ml juice before inserting into the tank doesn't seem like a big deal to me. *shrug*

I have always thought carto's worked best on bottomfeeders, but hey what do I know I also use mesh in drippers.

Yeah, I've been waiting and still using them. Could be somewhat easier, but I condom prime and have a side-fill so it's not too bad.

It was us vapers that invented them ( carto-tanks) and nobody is doing any of that kind of innovation lately.

Thought the Naughty was the answer.....

Been using IBTanked cartotanks and Smok cartos for maybe 10 mouths. No problems, works great. As far as priming, I use the thingie they supply and it takes about 90 seconds to prime, no muss, no fuss.

Back to? I never left. IBTanked and Vape Rev tanks are my daily vape. I can prime and fill a carto tank and be vaping in under 1 minute. Great taste, consistency and ease of use...

I love them too...I have moved on to rebuildables but I still pick them up from time to time.

I prime nautilus heads, otherwise I get rubbery taste. Just 2 drops are enough, and a few dry pulls.

I've used ibtankeds exclusively for the last 8 or 9 months. I love them! Ive got the kayfuns, foggers, patriots, etc but I keep going back to the cartotank. Ill never go away from them.

Carto tanks and Ikenvape cartos is my happy place. Been vaping with carto tanks since they first came out and never had the desire to change
