I love them too...I have moved on to rebuildables but I still pick them up from time to time.

Yeah I've got a couple of kayfuns; those 2, plus my cartotank, are the main ones I use all the time, just depending on what juice I'm in the mood for -- mostly, my blueberry muffin/banana nut bread, in the cartotank. That's become my ADV, but I still keep some virginia handy, in case the cigarette jones rears its head. :D And usually some other sweet or fruity stuff in the other kayfun.

My wife, dad, mother, step dad, a few family friends and countless of their friends and random strangers that have approached me for vaping advice use carto tanks to this day. I even sneak a pull once in a while. With a dozen or so ibtanks hanging around the house filled, I would be a fool not to cleanse my pallete with a new flavor from time to time.

That being said, the wife and dad have billet boxes with billet brridges, bvc coils and cartos coming to them for christmas. They can choose whether they prefer bvc coils or cartos then.

Yeah...it's not like they are gone and antiquated. Some folks on here vape nothing else and happily.

My son had trouble with them until he learned not to let his tanks run dry. If they are not for you, OK. That does not make them invalid for others. Carto tanks make a carto much less fussy and yes many Reonauts use BF cartos.

I could never get over the flavor of the filler material in cartos. Each brand had its own distinct flavor, and none where good. But Id be open to it if a truly flavorless filler material were used. Same thing goes for all other toppers, if the flavor is not sacrificed, with good TH and vapor, its worth trying IMO.
I think it worth improving on.

I have heard folks say that. I never noticed a taste but then I primed them pretty well. I am assuming you primed them? Otherwise they would be seriously nasty...LOL

It was us vapers that invented them ( carto-tanks) and nobody is doing any of that kind of innovation lately.

Ah yes, da good ol' ECF syringe/joose bottle tank development adventure days!

No kidding... I got a dry hit once from a carto, and that really was awful. So now, I get out the new carto and fill it with 1ml, and then let it sit there for a few minutes before I disassemble the one I'm vaping on. Once I get the new one in, and the tank filled, I sit and watch the bubbles bounce to the top for a few minutes; when they slow down, I know it's about ready, but I still turn the power down a bit before I try a hit.

Funny, I've only tried 1 clearo wayyy back ( G4) and tried another again this year and could tell no difference. I guess many of us are thankfully filler-blind. Even tried dripping on an old Joye atty. I've occasionally tasted the cleaner that they use on them, but it goes away after a bit.

i'm so glad they're outta my life.
oddly enough i have reverted to dripping........
course i build my own coils, no duds, and couldnt be happier!!!!

LOL, I reverse drip...Reo stylie. Have to admit that is the best flavor. Although I do build sub ohm coils on the Cyclone...not too low 0.8. But I roll through batteries like no tomorrow, so I end up taking a regulated mod out with me and an RBA or a carto tank if I am feeling it.

Dripping or reverse dripping can make a hated juice a favorite, I have found...

Yep carto tanks here too. Ibtanked, Surric, ikenvape, smok, boge. A "tank tool" :)
Supper easy, quick, reliable, great taste & vapor.

I want no muss no fuss soo much I don't even want to punch the cartos myself.
Higher VG liquid now so cartomizers with 2 holes, one larger hole or slotted.

That's how easy I want my vape to be & that's how easy carto tanks are.

Every time I top off my tank, I'm so appreciative of how quick, easy & clean it is.

I'm not lazy or unskilled - I've got a ton of other things to do & projects to work on so I'm well satisfied & don't need
or want it in my vaping gear. Just started DIY'ing - the benefits of that are worth my time.

Very satisfied & have no need to "upgrade" ;-)

It's actually a bit sad that more vapers aren't introduced to cartos - these things seem to get skipped in the vapers progression.

They made a new-fangled carto tank a while back called the AGR. You screwed the carto in, and it has little plug that you unscrewed to fill from the top. It tried to solve all of the so-called problems of a carto tank. Didn't work.

Just give me a plain old ibtanked or smok dct and I'm happy. Oh, I have Kayfuns and RDAs, but for no-muss no-fuss, give me a plain, old-fashioned carto tank.

I have RTAs that I use daily, but anytime I travel I use my carto tanks(IB). Once they're primed (and if not a dud) I know I'm good to go and don't have to worry about tinkering with it. I've had more issues with most clearos than I've ever had with cartos (only ever had a few duds)

A good thing about IBTanked is the "thingy" they come with that I can put a filled tank in and don't have to worry about the cabin pressure causing issues when flying. Nothing more annoying then getting off a long flight and having your clearo flooded.

After RDAs with AFC ruined anything with an even semi-tight draw for me, I just imagine using a carto would be like drinking ice cream through a straw. I would probably have a permanently flooded carto in a tank lol. I still have a pack somewhere in my stash... Might have to give it a go for old time's sake.
