The istick does look good :) so what do you guys travel with two mods all the time? Like going to work and such ? And on the istick obviously I can run my cleito and crown tank on it?

I don't see why those two tanks wouldn't work. But ask somebody with more experience than me just to make sure. Im pretty sure the pin is spring loaded but double check by watching reviews on youtube or asking around a little more here on the forums. I wouldn't want you to buy it and it not work with your accessories!

To answer the OP - yes it is "required" to have atleast 2 mods/batteries,more importantly FULL setups, if you have intentions on continuing to vape. Electronics, no mater who makes them can/will break, weather you caused it or not. Even atties can fail at some points, and it's good to atleast practice habits like checking your gear for dirt in ports/threads, ect.

I will stress it, ATLEAST 2 if you intend on vaping full-time.

Someone was telling me that it would be a good idea to have a back up mod. I'm currently running joytech 200w is there a smaller unit that's not as blocky that offers a nice wide range in wattage? Id be happy from 20w-80w. Any suggestion would be great :) thanks guys. I'm happy with the joytech and it's only 4 weeks old. I don't have any issues with it but someone mentioned it would be good to have a back up! Do these things break down a lot or do the last a long time?

Having a backup mod and atty are a FANTASTIC idea.

Sometimes batteries vent ruining your mod, sometines you accidentally drop the mod and thr board snaps or the wires break.

If you dont have a backup mod and it dies you will be forced back onto the stinkies just from addiction to nicotine.

Myself i use a Kayfun Monster Mini on a Mini volt when i am out and about.

At home i have two eVic Vtc minis, Sigelei 75, and istick60tc

Attys i hsvd three silverplay nanos, and three kayfun monster mini attys in a drawer, on the counter i havr the Griffin, Goblin Mini, and a Freakshow mini RDA, and waiting for four Goblin Nanos to arrive.

Come hell or high water i am NOT GOING back to thr stinkies when i am under stress.

Have been nicotine free for three months.

I've got blackups for my blackups for my other blackups...

no seriously, most forum members are enthusiasts and suffer from shinyitis, myself included. We need a certain mod to run with a certain tank that not only satisfy our taste buds and cloud needs but also appeal to us aesthetically and functionally. We color code our mods along with our ejuice (kidding here).

Its always nice to have a backup mod in case your current one malfunctions so you're guaranteed not to go back to analogs...happy vaping

For your first back up get something you can use in public indoors or out doors discretely if necessary.
With the millions of reasons to have a back up, discretion and decorum seem never to be considered.
Of course if this isn't a criteria that's on your list anything compact and light will do. Something easy
to carry along with your main set up.

After 3 1/2 years I have backups for my backups...your backups...everybody's backups.

When out and about, in addition to my main device, I usually carry a simple ego and Evod or PT mini style tank in a tiny little case. I also have an old style passthru in my car that I haven't used in ages. Not gonna catch me without...

I have about 6 working mods right now that could do the job easily (Presa 100, iStick 100, Stout, iStick 50, iStick 60, and Sigelei mini). Every time I think I have the perfect setup, something new comes out so I seem to buy a new mod about every 3 or 4 months. I probably would have held off on the Presa but my Evic VT decided to stop working. Sucker thinks there is something on there because it registers 1.2 to 1.5 ohms with nothing on it. And it thinks it is firing when I hit the button - no atomizer error. But it surely won't fire anything that is screwed in. So it is toast so I need a replacement. :)
