    Hi,
Yeah, hands were sweaty at the time i made the picture.
This thor should be 1 out of 2 in Estonia.
Bought the second one today. So all of the Thor II should be now in my hands.
I love it. Looks fabulous to me. It has about 50k puffs on the counter. :)
I hope that i can this getting fixed.

It looks like the resin cracked.. Still a mistery how this happend..... :(

Edit// wanted to add a picture made today. I assume that most of you will notice some marks from "using" it. So all help is welcome to puff this baby up. :)

Thats the finish Im after. Maybe I didn't spend enough time on mine. I'm going to get some poly to seal the finish on my next attempt. Its definitely a learning experience.
Ive had this mod for years now, it fires and handles any build I put on it. Thats why I took out the time to repair it, If not I would've just trashed it.

I spent ALOT of time on that mod then put 8-10 clear costs lightly sanding in between when dry. Prob 12-15 would’ve been better but I just was done at that time.

Yes mate its fixible, but all my guidance came from youtube and @Fidola13.. I used a little premium cyanoacrylate adhesive that i got from ebay.
I suggest using the thin. All you need is a very small amout...
"how to fix stab wood" search on youtube will give you all the info you need for a successful repair. Good luck! I

    Thanks for the tip Mate:)

@Mikhuu I hope this info helps with the crack in your Thor 2.
Feel free to ask any more questions along the way but as mentioned have a look on the youtube for a good instructional video.

Is that shine from using the board oil and renaissance?

That one wasn't. I gave the Pumper a few light coats of a good quality wood varnish with a light sand using a 1500 grit micro mesh pad in between coats.
After the varnish was finished I gave it a polish using Howard Feed-N-Wax.

I'm now in the middle of working on another mod using just the micro mesh pads with all of the different grades of mesh so I can compare the two finishes.:thumb:

You can get a very nice finish using only the micro mesh pads, but imo it won't last long.I spent several hours working through all the pads on one of my mods,it turned out perfect, then a about a week later,it was dulled down again just from using it.I hadn't used any wax or anything after,so that may well of made it last longer, but just the micro mesh wasn't a great solution for me haha.

A good wax after the mesh is the key to making the finish last Much longer:)
