I’ve spent A LOT of time on the 1st few pages on how to condition, polish and micro mesh stabwoods.

Phil from UK Stabwoods says that the Howard’s Condition and feed actually works better and longer if just polishing your stabwoods as opposed to mineral oil which comes off quickly.

the Renasainnce wax is great with using micro mesh and adding more pop of color to the stabwood.

just a thought. I bought it from Amazon for a decent price.

Your collection is absolutely stunning

I've been using Jojoba oil instead of mineral oil. It's actually a liquid wax ester:

I forgot Torx screws as well @badinfluence357, theres got to be a low profile option available somewhere though.

    What's the head height?
Thats what in saying but I think they just grinded the crap out of a bunch of regular m2's..
I cant picture trying to grind something so small without it flying off my hands.

If it doesn't have a distinct head. Easiest might be to put it in a drill? I've done that before. Can't remember what I used as abrasive though, I just remember a file not being great and using something else

Thats exactly what I'm going to try next. I can let it spin on a diamond cutting wheel I have laying around from the ceramic wick days. Then cut off the crushed tip and file the top down. Lets see how it turns out...

View attachment 880443 View attachment 880445 Gonna give the Dodge Pipe mod A sand pads & wax, Is it ok to take top & bottom plates off will there be any cables if so I leave be.

I think you're better leaving the plates on. Some are very easy to come off and some are quite difficult to take off without hassles, it depends on the mod.
I'm not too sure with your mod but I'd leave them on if I didn't know about it.
You should be using a very high grit sandpaper anyway and it won't matter sanding the plates slightly at all, it will only give them a bit more shine.
Or it's easy enough to tape the plates up if you want.
    Good Luck:)

Your advice is probably the best leave intaked, have full set of micro mesh so will likely spend a good few hours sanding during look down here, stay safe.

Your mod still looks in very very good condition so as far as the micro mesh goes you won't need to go through the whole set, if you do want to give it a micro mesh you would be safe starting with 6000 grit and working your way up to 12000.
But honestly just a good wax will make a big difference:)
Some do like to go the extra step with the mesh though!
Either way, enjoy and make sure you post up some pics of your polishing work:)

That's a totally unacceptable response from Fasttech.
Tell them your not capable of fixing the mod and you feel it would be dangerous to do so.
They are liable to fix or replace any broken products that are under warranty, which is most definitely your Thor 2.
    Good Luck Mate:)

And as for the puff counter on the Thor it can't be reset because it has a DNA chip. You may be able to download Evolv for it which I haven't done for mine so I can't say if you can reset the counter through Evolv or not.
But you can't through the mod as it is.

Sorry you’re having a difficult time with Fasttech. I’ve commented before that Asmodus service has always helped me out even when the mod was purchased somewhere else.

I recently contacted their CS through their FB/ Messenger app. I got the normal canned response but no reply now for 2 weeks so I’m going to assume they’re still not back to work.

I’m working hard at keeping the global economy from collapsing one mod at a time. Well ok two but I got a deal for buying more than one from stabwood mod uk as always. Phil always takes care of his customers especially his customers that should just setup camp there lol!!

anyways I’m in love with both. Took me a long time to try to make a decision (longer than 24 hours is a long time for me) but I think I initially posted these at least a month ago. It feels likes years tho lol!!

My favorite color is blue but I was having a “feel” for the other one too. Again- a bit out of the box mod for me lol!!

So I bought both Vicious Ant Duke lls. I totally wanted a mod with the curved back area where the fingers hold the mod. I have average or medium size women’s hands and the curves fit beautifully.

I haven’t even put an atomizer on them yet. Really need to think about the matchy thing. Not just color but glass and knurling etc. yes I’ve been very bored & spending way too much time -more so than usual- by myself lol.
