Here is my favorite Stabwood/resin mod of all time. It was made for me by Pdib back in 2015. I turned the matching atomizer cap from the left over wood when he shipped the mod to me. Very matchy-matchy :)

oh that is a beauty! wow! That’s just stunning. The stabwood atomizer with matching atty and just a thing of beauty. So thanks don’t ever sell if you don’t have too. It’s really gorgeous and thanks for sharing it here on the Stabwood thread. I really appreciate it. I’ll never have one as beautiful but that’s ok with me. Who knows maybe someday I will have one handmade!

Thank you Fidola :) You are right, I will never sell this mod, it has too much personal history for me. I was fortunate to be involved in many aspects of its creation, from the sourcing of the original Stabwood blank to the mods layout on the wood, to the creation of the matching atomizer cap.

Here is the blank of wood I bought for this mod.

Here are the parts I made to for the atomizer so I could sleeve it in wood to match the mod.

I would love love love to see some more of your collection! Not only high end expensive mods but stabwood mods that can be had for much less than a handmade one. I’m trying to convince people that stabwood mods don’t all have to break the bank.

I’ve bought several mods from the UK stabwood store and just checking they have several stabwood mods of around $100. Imagine having a beautiful and unique creation that you chose with its own patterns and swirls! To me they are a piece of artwork even the mass produced Chinese stabwood mods.

A lot of folks think that owning a beautiful one of a kind unique stabwood mod is out of their budget. Maybe they were in days past but the prices have been dropping over the past couple of years so it’s a good time to pick out the EXACT stabwood mod that you’ve been drooling over lol!

Here are just a few stabwood mods available for under $150, some under $100. So what re you waiting for? No more excuses not to own a piece of art! Add one or two to your collection of beautiful mods while you can still find them and at such great prices. I have most of these mods that I’m posting and I cringe knowing I paid A LOT more for mine! Hopefully you’ll be showing off your stabwood mods right here soon!

Check them out:

I'm pretty tapped out from crash building my stash this year, so something like this is more of a "would be nice to have someday" for me as of right now.

that’s beautiful! I’ve seen so many gorgeous custom mods on Reddit most if not all I could never afford. I’m surprised they’re still getting the high end money for them with all the issues surrounding vaping.

@Daniel Forsyth knows a lot about custom made mods since he’s had many made for him. I think the best stabwood makers are in the Philippines. Dan can verify that if it’s true or not.

Id love to get one made before they can’t be found anymore from them going out of business. They’re such beautiful pieces of artwork.

This Asmodus EOS2 is still one of my favorite mods and one I bought early on when I first started collecting them. It looks like a stunning painting of wild flowers in a field. It’s a wonderful mod as well.

To me that’s as beautiful as a marble sculpture or some other artwork.

Hey where are all those stabwood Asmodus owners out there that often went overboard during all the sales Asmodus was having a few years ago?

do you still have them, use them in a rotation or stuffed away for a rainy day somewhere?

I think we should dust off those gorgeous mods and post pics of them here. A blast from the past sort of. A reminder why we fell in love with them.

Who knows maybe we’ll end up with some trades or offers on what we all have squirreled away!

Im including the original Asmodus Thor I. A color I swear I’d never have thought I’d buy but I fell in love with it. And ergonomically it’s a beautiful hand feel especially with the fire button at a slant near the top. It takes a 26650 batteries so im trying to buy a few when I find any decent ones. I mean check out the presentation of it in a wooden box with matching drip tip and beauty ring. Cant find these every day.

I’ve had offers on it but this beauty is staying right at home with me :pervy: ! Oh and that’s a Loop v.5 that still give a wonderful thick and flavorful vape.

Used mods can be found online like the ECF and VU classifieds as well as places such as Vape Trader. It may take some patience until you find what you want but it’s worth it imo.

OMG! You are soooo correct that it looks like Starry Night! Not sure why I had forgotten about that. It makes it even a more unique artwork especially for vape hobbies etc…..

Yihi SX Mini SL in stabwood. Was around $180 now I think it’s going for about $88. What’s not to like with a unique piece of art that vapes a the the same time.

The finishes of a stabwood at the stabwood store are a major pro. The finishes are top notch some going from 5 to 8 pieces.

You should check it won’t you be surprised at how attys can be turned into attys and vice versa. It’s

It is very very beautiful, everything from the block of wood to the finished result.
I wonder if Isle Woods has stopped making stabwood blocks.

I watched a couple of older videos that showed exactly how the wood is dried then determined if it’s accurate enough to fill if with all the different colored resins into the ovens again. It was quite a process then the cutting or contouring got in place. It took quite awhile from star to finish. I wish I could watch again. It’s very easy o find on YT with a search for how to lake stabwood modsor some variation of that. It was very cool!
