i like this photo better! the one with the cat.
that is such a wonderful combo of woods... woow and the retro is cooll.... do you like the feel of the retro compared to the umm reg. 3rd gen Phid... wow hard to say reg. when it comes to a Phidias.. they are all so great ..because the consistency is always there with these hand made works of art....

Nope, purple heart and padauk. Seems to change shades of purple depending on the light, and is getting darker as time goes on.

You could try asking in the Site Feedback and Help Forum

It'll be good to see all the other phidiae out there (there are probably a bunch of the original, non-juicer ones).

ah ok. my next one is predominately babinga with padauk inlays.

Edit for wood species: Maple & whatever Fo chose. Rosewood maybe? It was a Fo thing for the wife. Lacewood & Padauk, Quartersawn Wenge & Padauk.
