I find myself looking at the woodvills every day. It's obvious to me I will get one, unless they're gone by the time I make up my mind. #99 sticks out for some reason. Between padauk, lacewood, utile, which is the hardest? [HASHTAG]#323[/HASHTAG] jatoba keeps beckoning as well. Also I think I have read some have an oiled finish and some are sealed with a clear. Do they come both ways and if so how can I tell? Thanks for ya'lls help! (been in TX for a while now)

I have both a Utile poly, and a Padauk oil finish, the Utile is slightly smaller, and lighter, but the wood is gorgeous, it shimmers in the light, someone mentioned a cat's eye effect that it has in the light. the Padauk is more on the cocobolo feel, and texture, it is heavier than the Utile, but not as heavy as my cocobolo, they are both very nice Woodvils, all 3 are in my rotation as soon as I get home from work. I also had my eye on [HASHTAG]#323[/HASHTAG], before I decided on [HASHTAG]#170[/HASHTAG] Padauk. decisions, decisions, decisions, I feel for ya!
