I think what's going to happen is that at the deadline I will gather all the pictures together and just have my daughter and a couple of her friends pick out their favourites, with no context or criteria. That way it will be both random and not, at the same time

It's the best thing I could come up with to insure no inherent of sub-conscious bias. All I have to do is make sure she doesn't realize there's a prize involved or she'll try to figure out who "deserves it most" and never come up with a decision

Hmmm...a day and a half since the last picture. I suppose that will make it easier for me to collect all the pics for the daughter to sort through, but it's kind of surprising considering there's a $100 prize, a $50 prize $150 prize, a VMax and a (don't laugh at me) $15 gift certificate on the line.

I think Ima try to sneak a pic of the wife to throw in here...

Happily Vaping in Redondo Beach, CA

Most of the local beaches here have passed "No Butts on the Beach" laws, and with good reason!!
Every year millions of cigarette butts are picked up during the annual Beach Clean-up Days... left there by people who think the beach is just one huge ash can!!

And although there is no 'waste' with an ecig, the end cap fell out of my carto when I was packing things up... LOL!!
Thank goodness the friend with me had good eyesight and actually spotted it in the sand!!!

I don't know about her pansy friends, but so far her two favourite bedtime stories have been Coraline and The Graveyard Book, both by Neil Gaiman--and the Coraline the book is not nearly as whimsical and happy-go-lucky as Coraline the movie.

And you have no idea of the kind of perverts she has to hang around regularly, just as a punishment for being related to me.

But I will take your advice in the good faith with which it was offered and pre-screen the pics so as to be able to warn her if there is anything possibly "traumatic" included. And I will play some soothing music for her while she chooses. Did I mention that Dragula was her lullaby as a baby, and the only song that would put her to sleep until she was almost seven months old?
