I think you're talking about just one of the many bars I use to frequent in the area - SIR . . . VERY "Bad" for a "Land" of Plenty . . . Or the "Ram" that had a "Rod" where I played "Pin-Ball" and Pool all day and night (that was till the massacre - when I lost a couple of friends/acquaintances ) . . . Really "like" - Brunch there and hanging out at the "Tea Dance" under the West Side Highway on Sundays . . . Or Street "Roller Skating" on the Upper level of West Side Highway . . . (BIG HINT) . . . AND - I shall not go through the whole list of Bars I used to go to before moving to (like "International" or the "Cell" besides all the "Dance Clubs") and then while living in NYC in a post . . . However, It seems we might have gone to the same ones depending on the years/decade, or especially if "You" knew any of the "Village People" before they became popular as I do . . . Long story short - I actually started going to the bars in NYC "Pre-Stonewall" and knew many different people . . . In addition - I belonged to a number of organizations also - The First "GAA" at the old Firehouse on West 4th Street/6th Ave as a teen in 1968/69 - all the way to the New York City Gay Men's Chorus . . . Maybe - We need to move this to reminisce in a PM or through Email . . .

IMO - It never seems to fail how some people look just as you would expect them to, especially given what they post, including the "tenor" and the "content" . . .

AND - Amazingly sometimes they don't look anything like "You" pictured them in your minds eye . . .
