Thx for the info, JC Okie.:) Erictho- how funny. I just finished reading a thread you posted when you got your first bottom feeder. Did you wind up being comfortable with it? Do you use cartos at all anymore? I am waffling between just buying a @#*&ton more vision stones and sticking with those......or getting a bottom feeder.

hey sorry for the late response. but i did get the hang of maintaining a comfortably hitting carto. it was just a little bit of a learning curve of when to feed. i like it a lot and i use it almost exclusively.
the dude i work for really doesn't like when i fill up my cartos, so i avoid it as much as possible. when i didn't have my gravity feeder this translated to a lot of dry hits and frustration. now it's pretty much eliminated with the rev2. i love the little thing. once the battery goes (or i suspect it of waning) i really would like a mechanical mod.
:)
and i exclusively use cartos after trying atomizers and polyfill-less cartos. i use the boge lr for the rev2, and i use smoketech dcc for my ego batts. i find it to be the most reliable and way cheaper, so i'm a carto girl for life now. have you tried the vision stone? i'm pretty tempted to even just try one, but i had such variable luck with the ce2s. though when they worked i liked them.

I love my Reo. It's so dang easy. I still love my Provari as well. I have a different flavor in each. For ease of use though nothing beats a Reo. Once you get one you seem to be part of a family. Everyone is so nice. Here is a pic of mine.

...as I just got juice everywhere....... I am feeling your pain. I am new and trying many different things. I just tried my first tank but I can't figure it out... doesn't seem to give me a good vape and I keep on getting burnt draws ever third or so vape. I use a KGO the clearomizer I just tried was a 1.7. Now I'm trying a dual coil xxl 1.5. I don't know really what I am doing too much so there you go. I know I have run into some dud 510's already... I got a drip and that was nice. Good to know it's only for a couple of draws... how many drops do you put in? Take Care and sorry I don't have any suggestions yet. Ahhhh the juice fling.

I hear ya! Was very frustrated with inconsistant vape until I added my madvapes EMDCC to my Ego batt. Now a happy camper. Just add a ml of juice every 4-5 hours (just takes a sec with a hypo) and all is well. Have tried two tanks, Boge 2.0's and a couple misc. cartos before I got this combo going. Recently tried a similiar mega carto but no joy, only the EMDCC will do me...

Hi everyone! Thanks to all for the great suggestions and opinions! (Sorry it took me so long to respond...the "work" thing really interferes with my yearned for life of leisure... (Dont I wish!)
Have you considered clearomizers? The eGo Vision/Stardust or the Vision Xpressomizer/Extreme are pretty much trouble free. No filler, you can empty the juice out of a dead clearo (if/when they die).

Thanx for the suggestions. Yup...I have 3 Stardusts currently working. Also Vision Stone II, Fluxomizers, Giant Extreme, some other variations of Ce2 and clearos...lol the list goes on. I wish I was more impressed with the Stardust- I actually like the Stone better. ( I think it just doesnt like the vg I use...whereas the Stone works BETTER with Vg.)

Feeders are the best possible thing currently available to reduce the hassle and to provide consistency.

Six , I am thinking thats my next step. I want to do a bit more research- but it looks like Im going to have to step it up to a Reo....

Has anyone tried the Boge Revolution V2.1 ? I'm interested but I would like to know if they are as good as they seem. I know the battery is not replaceable but the price makes them seem reasonable to replace and I would love the 10ml bottle and the charge while vaping features. If they could avoid all the problems stated by mAdHattress then I would be interested
.

Engineer-I'd like to hear more bout those, too. My concern-(like u said) is the battery...

I was also tired to death of constant filling etc. About a month ago I bought a Vmod XL and I'm loving it. Fill up your bottle, put in a fresh battery and carto, and vape away for days until you change out your battery. The juice and carto lasts me for ages. My Lil Mama tank on my Provari is also very much hassle free. I almost didn't even bother to try it as I had leaking with other tanks if the mod lay on it's side. Not so with Lil Mama! fill up and vape for weeks, and no leaking or flooding at all (even if lying flat)!

Nice set-up, dragonbone!!! Great info, too!

The thing about a bottom feeder or a top feeder is that how well they work depends on how well you are able to get the right amount of juice into the atty. If you get a dry hit, it's your fault. It's not a totally trouble free solution.

That, actually, is another thing I was concerned with. I mean, I can get all my things to work, but alot of them take some fiddling/modding...etc. (For example, on my Stones, they have to be tilted 'JUST SO' to get the best hit....and I always cut the extra plastic out of the cup to avoid that crappy dry hit with the plastic taste. Ugh.... By the way- you have some sleek machines!

pay attention to the co-ops in the next couple of months. the "BFG" will be run in there. it is called the bottom fed genesis. I see it going for around 50-75 dollars depending on the number of people in the co-op.

Trust me you will want this one. it will have liquid control as well as air control. The unit is being designed by scubabatdan. I hope he doesn't get upset with me for this info.

edit: As far as the "cost," well the replacement for the coil is pennies versus a dollar for a carto, or $3-7 for an atty.

Will do, rusalka ! Props for the heads up!

Njt07- your idea is brilliant! I have all those things in duplicate, too!

Okay, mAdHattress, have you made your list of all recommendations? Get out your credit card and start buying. No, wait! I'm just kidding.
I'm just saying that everyone has there own opinion. There are drawbacks to using any of these products. One goes with the drawbacks they find least annoying to tolerate. At least for now. Then we find something else which is less annoying to us and on and on.
I don't know what annoying feature you will find you can tolerate, but I do hope you find it. I have not found mine, but I'll keep looking.

Very wise words, Bluesman! Oh, and I just KEEP my credit card beside my computer now, btw! lol

Hey erictho. Glad you you ended up liking your rev2. How long have you had it now? I love the boges and smoketechs, too. Im just LAZY! lol I DO have the Stone. In fact, I just ordered 5 more last night from Virgin Vapor. I use all VG- and it works better for me than any other clearo. Give em a try if you use thick juice- I think it may have a tendency to leak with thin.

enchantedwonder: I have a kgo as well. If you ever need a hand or have questions PM me- I can probably give ya some tips and tricks.

Oh man- I think this must be the longest post ever lol. Thanks again, everyone, for all the great info, tips, suggestions ect!

Ok, Provari Mini. It's a variable voltage mod so you can pick and chose what voltage is your sweet spot for your specific juice. No hold backs on voltage. Second, a Lil' Mama "pro-cise" tank by bigdaddyvapor.com. The tank matchs the Provari Mini's color perfect, it was made for the Provari. Theyre's no leaks, not tank slipping off and wasting 3 mL of juice, the pressure inside the tank is so good that when you take a rip it automatically sucks juice into the punched carto so you will never get a dry or burnt hit. Use Boge 3.0 SR SS punched carto's along with it. It might be alot of money, but this mod gives you absolutely any type of set up you want. Theyre's an infinite amount of setups you can have for your Provari, as well as setting the voltage that you want and what's for the best.

2 attributes of the Provari V2 are bringing me ever closer to buying one. The increased amp-limit, and the Accu-set technology. I love the idea that what you set in volts, you get! Regardless of load. And that you'll be able to drive dual coils and LR stuff better with the increased amp limit. I'm so torn between a Reo VV and a Provari V2... and now Notcigs has to go and throw the VVPV into the ring. Are you vendors trying to drive me nuts with all this cool ......?

Thanks for your input, Caelius Felix ! If I cant find anything else, I may have to stick with the Vision Stone. So far, in the tank/CE2 area, thats the only thing Ive found that I like oither than the cartos.

Yup, tried some of the tanks and clearos, the vision stone gives me the easiest draw with the biggest clouds. i wonder how many times i can refill it before having to replace the guts. There are 3 different versions, they all look the same to me, i don't know which one i'm using.

Good question. Where and when did you buy it? I am currently using version II....the III is sold out everywhere. I know GotVapes sells the guts to version II & III, though.

I should have read this thread before starting my own but my beef is with taste. I dont really mind filling cartos and what not. Its like a hobby to me. Looks like you tried 100 more things than I have. The best thing in my arsenal at the moment is a smok tek tank which I've cut down to fit the LR Boge cartos I started using after getting no flavor from my Ego-C. I punched the hole myself and must have done it just right becuase its the only carto that hits really well. Getting a crackle on the draw which tells me its nice and wet. The first smoke tek carto I tried worked ok but the two after that just taste dry. I'm out of AVE's Havana Gold and I'm vaping Boba's at the moment but after vaping all day I cant really make out any of the nice flavors I know this juice has. Not sure if a VV would fix this or not but that's my next step.

Those bottom feeders sound like they take up a ton of juice. Anyone know how much juice once would go thru using a carto vs one of those other systems? A full carto seems to last me a while and I'd hate to be vaping that much more juice switching to something else even if the flavor is much better.

Bottom feeders is a great way to go. Do a bit of research and find what you like.

Personally, I like the Phidias by fonosmoak. I like good woodwork and craftsmanship, as well as a supplier who takes care of his customers, and the Phidias has it all. Of course everyone is different and some would like metal, some wood, some drippers, some tanks, and of course some people like the mini. That is what I've found and I love it, and I was having the same frustrations as you seem to be having. YMMV.

I'll have to take a look at the Phidias. Glad you are finding something that works for you!;)

Nuggetz, I wish I knew the answer to your question. :( One of the reasons I am trying to get away from cartos was because of the juice issue, too. Hmmm....

I don't usually chime in on threads like this, but since I have been in your exact situation I thought I would this time. I got really tired of all the problems cartos were giving me, and I found something, I think works really well. Atomizers. Yep you heard me. The dreaded atomizer. And a bottom feeder. A atomizer and a bottom feeder was just what I needed, and it's all I use (except my vapemate, but that's another story). Now, I will NOT say this is what you need to make you happy, but, it might be something to try if your frustrated in your situation. What's the pros and cons you ask?

Pros: Easy, to set and forget.

Cons: none for me.

This is just a honest thought. Hope you find something you like, and let me know so I can tell others of your success.

My Vision Stone tank V2 leaked like crazy, gurgled, and added the wonderful juice in the mouth experience. When it actually worked it was AMAZING. I gave up on it, not worth the hassle and I'm a CE2/Fluxomizer fan. I did everything right. Filled the tank to the midway point, blew it out before using, and it still had major problems. I'm hoping the manufacturers solved these problems with Version 3 !!
