I was just wondering if anyone knows for sure whether the sidesho battery lasts longer than the blu, I know its bigger but that doesn't really mean much. Anyone know the mah on these things? and further more what mah stands for?

A unit for measuring electric power over time. mAh is commonly used to describe the total amount of energy a battery can store at one time.
A higher mAh rating means the (fully-charged) battery can power a device that consumes more power and/or for a longer amount of time before becoming depleted and needing to be re-charged. Sidesho batts (automatics) say .59 WH so I can only assume that means 590 mAh. No idea what the Blu batt is rated at as I havent torn one apart yet.

I really doubt the sidesho is only 590mAh. It would need recharging every 60-90 minutes. Not sure what WH stands for, but it's not mAh.
Edit- Doh - a 590mAh batty would last a whole day. I must have been texting while posting.

Well... if you mean Watt-hours, then 0.59Wh @ 3.6V = 0.16389 Ah or 164 mAh.
And, yes, the Sidesho battery lasts a heck of a lot longer than the Blu.

I got curious with spare time at work, tore apart a battery for fun. Confirmed 0.59 watt hours printed on the side of the battery. At 3.5 volts, 0.59 watt hours would equate to 0.16857 Ah or 169 mAh.

At any rate, yes, bottom line the Sidesho batt lasts much longer. If this site data is accurate, they cite 90mAh batteries for the Blu (JSB-L88B).
