I just placed an order of about $250 from overseas and live in Maryland. Think it will get here safe?

I don't think any of us have those kind of connections in the FDA or the China post :). My guess would be that once it clears China your odds go way up. I'm also thinking that $250 is in the same basket as $25. Maybe if it was in the $2K or $20K size it might get treated differently?

I had recently placed 2 separate orders from China. One was a USB Microscope (only $42) from one and 50 empty 510 carts (with filler) from another and both packages were received opened. What I mean is that both packages had been cut open, checked by customs in China, and re-taped shut. They were both packed in padded envelopes so they cut the ends off of both to look inside.

So they may check the packages, but I did get mine. One actually had a sticker on it filled out with the customs information on it (in writing).

I don't think you'll have a problem but you just never know.

I order from China all the time almost weekly in fact and I haven't had a problem yet, I agree that if it where say a 20k or very sizable order it would be thoroughly checked but a pkg of 250 doubtful for seizure, it's the big hitters that tremble, and heck if your that worried Chewy ask about insuring your pkg next time, this way for the cheap amount of a once a year 250 you wont sweat it at all for something like $12 bucks you could insure it. Just a thought.!!
