So yesterday I accidentally dropped my sigelei 100w and one of the magnets from the back cover came out. I stupidly super glued it the wrong way so now instead of the magnets attracting they're opposing each other and I can't close the back cover. Does anyone know where I can buy another cover?

How would I do that? Should I drill a hole on the other side and just try to force it out?

Myself I would probably try using a nail punch (because I have them here) I would think a screwdriver and hammer would punch it out as well. If that did not work or if I was worried about bending the cover in the process I would consider heating the glue a little to soften it before trying to punch it out.

What type of super glue did you use? There are solvents that will break the glue down as well such as acetone, which should not harm your aluminum finish but you would want to test that before going nuts.

I used Gorilla Super Glue. I'm not that worried about denting/scratching the surface of the cover since I can always put a JWrap around it. I'll try putting the cover over flames from my stove and then try a screwdriver and hammer. The only problem is that there isn't much room to work with, the magnet and the cavity are pretty flush.

Try the nail polish first if you have any around. If nothing else it will break down the glue so it will be easier to punch out.

I have had this happen on my REO grand ..Put nail polish remover or acetone from the paint section of the hardware store on it. Let it soak for a while and then get something small and sharp and pop it out of its hole clean the hole out with more nail polish remover or acetone and glue it back in.

Woohoo! I got it out. I finally had to drill a hole in the other side of the cover because no matter what I did there was no room for the magnet to move in the socket. So after putting nail polish remover and heating it and decided to drill from the other side and just pop it out. I glued it back now the RIGHT way

Apart from a small hole which I can cover up with a JWrap there's no signs of my "intrusion"
