One tip for the avocado 24 trim the end of your wick, not quite into points but maybe half the volume going up to full size that the coil. Wick like a beast and you still have volume of cotton at the coil. Also use a thin Allen key to make some space between the wicks and the holes they go through a la the theorem wicking tutorials, it allows the juice to flow like mad.

I bought some pre made 0.45 alien claptons and they are awesome but just putting a 0.25 stainless alien from juice junkie in now, this mother ramps up super quick. Hoping for an awesome vape.
It took me a couple of days to get mine working well. My method is similar to yours except I rake the cotton either side of the coil instead of trimming it. I then use a 2.5mm rod from my coil master to push down the cotton to let air through. I've found the bigger you make the air holes the better it wicks.

yeah I've seen that method, think I've just put the cotton a little thin into this one but i will vape it for a day and see....

Last 2 builds i have done have been amazing, its just getting this little ....... right every time!

Sorted the Rafale, it needed 100W + to even get going!!!
Lol it's not the easiest to wick. When I got mine I had 2 days off work and spent the whole of the time banging my head against a brickwall trying to get it to wick proper. Now I've got a build I can replicate every time and it outperforms everything I've got. And I've got a lot lol.

The Avocado 24 looks good on the Sigelei 213; however, in reality the avocado fruit gives me indigestion, and I might as well say so does Sigelei.

I am going to be blunt here and if you don't like it too bad.

Every product that gets released into the market always has complaints. If you want a perfect device i would suggest you learn Ohms Law, soldering, manufactoring and make your own. I hear complaints about the DNA and YiHi chips as well. First off you need to understand that for its intended purposes the device does what it says it does. If the TCR/TFR settings do not work well you either now nothing about it or are not adjusting it properly. As far as the Sigelei 213W being firmware upgradeable? Did the actual Sigelei website states this? NO! Therefore the vendors themselves are to blame here people, not Sigelei. The vendor sees the Sigelei has a usb port and automatically assumes firmware upgradeable. Maybe it is maybe it isn't i don't know for sure. But i do know what i see and i see blame going on one person. You really should blame yourselves, seriously.

When you buy a device what are you getting it for? A 213w device really doesn't need firmware updates to be honest lol. Although it would be nice for fixing any firmware issues that may arise from the device. But no let us sit here and complain about the settings not working as intended but yet know nothing about it, lol! Do some research and maybe you will have some answers.

Bottom line....Don't get something you know very little if anything at all about and complain it doesn't work.

Interesting that you believe firing at several degrees cooler than desired classes as "working as intended".

I guess I would only have to ask.......how many "problems" would a product have to have and/or to what degree would they need to be "problematic" to justify complaining?

I know little to nothing about LCD TV's, but still own a couple. One had a slight picture distortion from day one and the manufacturer replaced it free of charge including delivery and set-up. They did not tell me to tone down the color and contrast to hide or compensate for the problem as a "work around."

Well, the device is great... now! Seems like there was just a communication problem. But without all the complains here and towards Sigelei I'm sure they would have not come up with an explanation (the formula video) how their TCR works and how you calculate it that quickly. So, they let us hanging at the beginning.. and they came up with a workaround.. now it works great.. for me.

Most of us have now got this device to a decent workable level. I've done it through reading the complaints and fixes on this thread. Sigelei released a tc device that uses different tcr numbers to all other devices.......and didn't tell anybody. There was no information about this before we all bought the device.

And about the update thing.. I think they just should have stated it on their website that it's not firmware updateable and everyone would have known. But they let reviewers and vendors just say that it would be. I'm sure they check website or review videos from time to time about their products.
Seems like a communication problem as well.

So without these complaints and Darth actually testing the TCR using extreme settings for preheat and temp limit would anyone have known that TCR wasn't functioning as intended? Would sigelei have provided a bandaid fix to its Sig213's TCR function?

Forums exist for actual users to share their opinions on pros / cons / issues / enjoyments of specific devices, juices, companies, etc etc etc.

As mentioned, some reviewers were given beta / sample versions from Sigelei themselves. Almost each and every one of them said firmware upgradeable at some point in their review. Maybe sigelei should've stated firmware NOT upgradeable on their website instead of leaving it up in the air?

Blame ourselves for...? Not understanding how TCR works? Ok, yes, I don't have the know-how of calculating the specific TCR values for different wire types, but thankfully theres a plethora of information that you can just google; plugging & playing these numbers ain't rocket science.

Thanks to the information posted in this thread by members who actually have some positive contribution, potential buyers who care about a functioning TCR without having to do workarounds are better informed about this mod and the issues it has.

Oh btw, just so everyone knows. I emailed Sigelei warranty center and inquired about the Sigelei 213 being firmware upgradeable because I wanted to hear it directly from them, and it's just how I am.

This was their response:

"Sigelei has informed us that it is NOT firmware upgradeable. We don't have an answer on what plans they have to address some of the known bugs.

Best regards,

Sigelei Warranty Center"
