I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but If I switch between tc preset and tcr, my temp and preheat all stay the same. The only time the temp and preheat change is if I manually go in and change it separately from everything else.
Ok, that is what mine is doing too. It's just worded really weird.

Just rcvd my second sigelei 213 this month. I'll order 2 - 213s and 2 liters of Nude Nicotine Armor v2 per month until the ban-hammer falls.
I wish I could buy mods like that. I'd have a collection. I've been eyeing the various IPVs for a while now, just not sure which one I like.

I just ordered an IPV5 over the Sigelei, I would have ordered it soon but I've been waiting on the 213 or something else new from them. Unfortunately they just can't get there act together, and build on that great name they once had.

Should of waited for the IPV6 instead of the 5, first looks, it is smaller and a lot better looking than the IPV5 IMO.

I spent a few days pretty upset with the mod but am now really enjoying it. You just have to jump through a few hoops to get there.
I spent the first 2 days just rocking my std power mode dual 24x32 clapton in griffin and supreme and loved it for size and weight and battery life. Then I started messing with TC and got disappointed.

It works as well as my other tc devices if I manually raise its initial resistance by 0.01 If you do this ss mode works well. TCR works well with 0.0005 and tfr's default m1 works well. The m1 setting matches steam engines tfr numbers for 316L exactly.
Yeah after experimenting a little and knowing it does work but it is still a sign of a bad design to production team to have the accuracy issue imo. If you do the math on the fly, 879×10-6 (from wirewizard) is 0.000879 and this doesnt work. I guess its my own fault for breaking my rule and buying first gen, on release, trusting that this device would work as well as my sig150w. Sure its a brick and its a beat up 2nd hand device but that Al body suck heat out of an atty and if you lay it down on a stone bench its cool in seconds. I dont own enough devices to give it a proper comparison, but my sexy Pegasus adjusts in whole watts all the way to 70w max which i find a lot better, and the Sig150w does above 50w and I do most of my vaping around 45-80w. It seems to be an inconvenience to me to have such a fine tune range with a fast scroll speed that I end up having to click the button so many times or settle for a variance of a few watts from what I wanted. The only area I can see this being any advantage is under 20w for high ohm MTL.
Can anyone recommend devices that have 1w increments all the way? Are any boards programmable to the extent of changing increments? Does anyone actually think their vape is better at 62.3w than just 62w or is it all a wanky arms race type of feature?

I don't have much in the way of expendable income, it's rough, but decisions must be made and my impoverishment is short term. BUY NOW.

I have my eye on the IPV Yaris 26650! looks kinda like a d3 but better ;) not much info out right now though... just says "yihi chip" if it ticks all the boxes it could be a contender!

Just came back from the Sigelei Website and they have posted the following:

The clarification of the rumor"The TCR temperature mode with Sigelei 213 is not accurate"

    The Cause:

As Sigelei we have designed a more accurate way to temp control in which the functions is similar to the TCR on other product. Our liner temperature control is based on Fahrenheit units which in form has a higher level of precision compared to the common TCR which is celsius unit based.

    Solution:

1.We have created a tool to do the conversion for you to turn the celsius based TCR values to our Fahrenheit based TCR ( Liner Temperature Control) values. The tool will be available on the Sigelei official website. SIGELEI TCR

2.To meet market demand of some of the consumers,we will launch the Fuchai 213 version of the device which uses the more common Celsius based TCR calculation.

3.With the reduction of precision down to the current TCR market standards we will be able to launch the Fuchai 213 at half the cost of the Sigelei 213 model.

If you read back through the thread there are pages of discussions about this.

Help/advice? Searched the thread and only post that came up was a brief comment I made before. Here goes:

A favorite vape for me is some Cuttwood Boss Reserve in a TFV4 mini with stock titanium coil (TF-Ti) on a Lavabox DNA200 at 490° on 68watts. It would be great if I could dial in a comparable vape with the 213 (lighter, smaller, longer battery life), but after a few days and adjusting everything I can find here and in the manual, it just doesn't get there. Best I can describe the vape is weak, both in flavor and cloud. I've been up/down on temp and pre-heat watts/time and best I have come up with is 540° with an 80 watt preheat for 0.7 seconds. It just doesn't seem right to up the temp or preheat time, leaving me watts as an adjustment. But am I already getting up there pretty high or am I "safe" cranking it on up?

Hope somebody has a suggestion as I really like this mod in spite of the complaints and I don't want to just settle for power mode. Thanks!
