hard to talk about "fairness" in this case, but the test is not fair because it was to expect that it performs exactly the same like the 213. this fuchai has been produced before the ....storm. And it seems they try to fix stuff via firmwares.

No excuse for anything, just saying that this is not unexpected.

OK! I come in way short of the knowledge of most here, so just have to ask....

I currently only use the Ti factory coils in my TFV4 mini and SS 316L factory coils in my Herakles Plus. I only run them on the preset Ti and SS settings, not any TCR settings. Are these coils used in this manner subject to the burning cotton, wonkiness, and "TC not usable" state depicted in these videos?

Either way, I may be relegated to using my Sig 213 and Fuchai 213 in power mode only, which seems to be working fine. But any further purchases of Sigelei products would require something of in-imaginable greatness!

OK! Go ahead, point and laugh at the stupid old man! But the world needs more laughter and if I can bring that, even at my expense, it's all good! So......

After getting and using my Sig 213 for a month or so, I placed my order for the orange (hey! at my age I have to make my mods easy to find!) Fuchai 213. I am halfway through my "historic" 12 day run that includes my 2 year vapaversary, my 39 year wedding anniversary (rare in these days ), my birthday (not saying which one ), and the 4th  (closest thing I could find to a fireworks emote). Between that and the popular stockpiling epidemic, I figured I deserve a break today and not the Mickey D kind. But why the 213? (I can already hear the snickers! o_O)

What can I say? I love my Sig 213! The size, the fit, the feel, the battery life, and the looks! Yes, absolutely it has some problems, none of which are that detrimental to my vape style. I never go above about 82 watts, I don't make use of the TCR/TFR settings (although I may regret that at some point ), and the preset TC requires some adjustments. But at this time, I only use on atty with Ti and one with SS and I hated that the 213 would not retain those adjustments for each preset. So here's my idea behind buying the Fuchai 213 (as the snickers increase to a few guffaws ).....

With two 213's I can use in power mode, I hope to have one set for Ti TC and the other set for SS TC! And the Fuchai in bright orange so I know which is which :hubba: (although due to poor memory, I still may have to label it )! What if I branch out in TC with Ni or different SS you ask? I've always got my Lavabox DNA200 to fall back on as my best TC mod.

So what's not to like? For a mere $60, I've taken care of stockpiling, back-ups for back-ups, and a temporary relief from shinyitis. Now pick yourselves up off the floor, wipe the laughing tears from your eyes, and get back to vaping and accomplishing something/anything more worthy of your time !

Very nice post!

I had my Fuchai 213 on pre-order and it was about ready to ship when the (where's the poop emoji when you need it) hit the fan. I pre-ordered during a Memorial Day sale so the 213 was costing me just about $40 so I figured why not, if it works in power mode just fine then that is good enough for me at the price. Now that I have had it for awhile the SS316L TC mode works just fine, went through probably 20 or more tanks in my Avocado 24 and Super Tank mini without a single dry hit and I always vape my tanks dry when in TC mode. I even pulled the cotton om my Avocado and there wasn't a dark spot on it.

I understand it is not DNA200 accurate for TC but neither is anything else besides maybe the top Yihi chipped devices. I also find it funny that all the youtube reviewers who loved the 213 prior to Daniel's youtube video are now blatant liars. If those reviewers were using the 213 like I am in SS TC mode it works fine people, put down the pitchforks.

I am very thankful I didn't pay the $100+ pricing on the Sigelei 213, then I would be ....... For the price of $40 it is available for now it is a very well built mod, even Daniel said as much in his first video. It just falls big time short of the stated wattage which is actually probably OK for 90% of the vapers out there who never go past 100 watts. I only vape SS316L in TC mode so I can't comment on Ni or Ti but for me the TC mode works better than my RX200S which is more of a disappointment than the Fuchai 213 by a long shot.

I am not planning on buying anymore Sigelei products based on how they conducted themselves. I am also not upset I got the Fuchai 213, it works great in my application, is well built, feels comfortable to hold and is much lighter than my other dual 18650 mods.

I think they started again with the numbering on the fuchai (so 1.1 or something like that)

Oh, crap! Starting lower then my Sig! Or maybe the F 1.1 is actually equal to the Sig 1.9? But who knows and my guess is Sigelei ain't talkin! o_O

the SS316L TC mode works just fine

Ah, maybe some good news! I just put a new SS 316L coil in my Herakles Plus, so may have to break it in on the Fuchai 213 and see how it does.

If you like it and it does what you need it to, who cares what anyone else thinks man. Vaping satisfaction is very subjective.

Exactly. Pitchforks in full force on this one and I can't blame people for being mad at all. But for me, this device is absolutely perfect. Small, regulated, dual 18650, 2A charging. It's all about it being the right fit for you.

The P4U version of this looks janky as hell and cheap plastic. But at least they added a USB port this time around.

Yeah, I am not crazy about the look on the IPV6 either. I am pretty sure it uses the same chip as the IPV5 as well, no upgrade there. I like my IPV5 though, great mod but the up/down buttons do freeze up on occasion and it is not my favorite mod for TC.

Six on one, 1/2 dozen the other.

Actually I think P4U got styling hints for the IPV6 from the 213. I like the looks of it. "Breazy" claims it has user TCR and firmware update ability. (both are show stoppers if it does not have them) Lastly it is a YiHi chip so chances are that it will actually TC in TC mode.

I have a black one on preorder, (ordered in May) after the debacle with the 213. In the mean time I have a SXminiQ and Vt75 to play with. They actually do everything they are advertised to do.

The IPV5 has user TCR and firmware updatability, they only update they gave us is for the worthless tank, the SX Pure. They both use the same SX330-200 yihi board so you should expect the same functioning which is good but for some reason P4Y decided the SS TC would be for 304 instead of the more common 316L, hopefully they change that for the IPV6. P4Y sucks with putting out updates as well, we were suppose to have a update along with software to do custom screen ala escribe but that never appeared.

Just got my Sigelei 213 and tried one of my pre built SS316 coils and it will not working in that mode it just doesn't fire or get hot same coil seems to work on my TC100 in SS mode. Coils resist is .23 according to my TC100 the Sigelei reads it as .12 but when fired jumps to .22 and the volts and watts just sit very low and don't heat up...Any ideas? Bad unit? Faulty coils? I tried another one of my pre built 10 pack same thing..

I think it is you press both the up and down buttons at the same time and when you get into that menu click over to where it says read the resistance. After you do that you have to go back into that menu and hit lock to lock the resistance. It says how to do it in the owners manual, I don't have that or the mod with my right now though so if I am wrong then just look it up.
