Hey Guys,

As the title says, which of these 50W box mods do you prefer? I like that sigelei uses Yihi chips (I have the ipv Mini 2 and love it). I heard the Xpro M50 has had issues, but have an upgrade to the 65W model and that resolves the issues the M50 had.

So my box mod pros, which one would you pick if you had a choice?

Thanks in advance,

Ghostin

Sigelei definitely! I have the Sig 50 VR2 and a Smok M65, the Sig is better in every way except size if you're looking for the smallest 50.

I'm not sure what the 65 fixed over the 50 but it still limits the watts it will put out depending on ohms and battery level. Changing the battery is a pain but it charges pretty quick. The way the top is attached to the body makes me fearful of leaking eliquid getting inside the body.

That being said it's very comfortable to hold, small, bright screen and works pretty good with a build 0.7 ohms and higher. I currently have a 0.7 ohm rebuilt occ coil in the subtank at 20 watts and the M65 fires it well.

In the end it works for how I vape but I would never buy another one.

I have the same 2 SIgelei 30s Btsmokingcat has and I cant say enough good things about em. I would definitely take anything Sigelei over Smok any day of the week.. Heard waaaaay too many problems with the Smok's including that latest story over at Reddit where a dude was charging his M80 which just blew up and torched his whole house..

I gotta agree with Zod though, the 70 with temp control is coming out at the end of the month, and is roughly the same price as the 50. The 50 by now though is a rock solid device, and the only thing about Sigelei is, they often update and 'fix' things after the first run or two of their new devices.. A bunch of us that bought the first gen 30w Minis, had the problem of the 510 pin sitting too high which ended up causing alot of stripped 510s after a few months. The second one I bought in April, the 510 was redone perfectly, along with some 'fixes' to the buttons that made it even more perfect and havent had a single issue with that thing at all..
