any news on whether or not sigelei will come out with replacement colored door covers? or at LEAST a different colored silicone sleeve? i think the frosted one it comes with looks awful. should've at least include a black one like with the 150w!!

If sigelei don't but there is evidence of demand for these things, I don't see why 3rd party manufacturers wouldn't be able to come out with both doors and sleeves.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I like the double doors really is easier to change batteries. On mine once you get the doors on there good you cant really tell they are doors.

I was hoping that no adjustment would be needed for the doors, snap on snap off , are you saying you got to fit them right?

really? all the reviews and pics i've seen included the frosted silicone sleeve. was the black silicone an option? or do you think they just kind of randomly throw differently colored sleeves in the boxes? lol
It was just the black model from Ecig ave, no options for sleeves. My thought was maybe the sample units for reviewers got the clear one, and the retail units have the black ones. That is just speculation though.

Has anybody gotten a retail 75W with the clear sleeve?

Now that makes sense , choosing different color combos , i didn't think it could be just for battery changing , got to be another reason.

If Sig never offers other door options maybe it is just for battery changing but i doubt it.
i think I saw some brass colored versions somewhere although I havent seen anything like that for sale as yet!

do you guys think maybe the silver version comes with the frosted sleeve and the black version comes with the black sleeve? that's the only other logical reason i could think of as to why some would come with the frosted sleeve and others would come with black.

if not that i guess they just throw random sleeves in a box! lol

Sometimes on mine if your not paying attention the doors don't snap down exactly perfect you just give it a little squeeze and everything lines up perfect and tight.

Anyone else getting resistance values that look a bit high when in power mode? e.g. using my Triton with the 1.8ohm coil this Sigelei is reporting anything from 1.98 to 2.05ohms, and it fluctuates.

I haven't tried temperature mode.
I mentioned earlier on in this thread, mostly using kanger subtank plus and mini v2 my resistance, using kanthal is consistently reading 0.04/0.05 ohms higher than it does on my other mods. It doesn't tend to fluctuate any from this though. I wondered about sending my device back because of this but thought I would wait a bit to see if anybody else had this issue and it now appears that you have too.
Could others with this device please test their kanthal readings compared with other accurate mods, to ascertain if this is a problem with this device generally? I would also be interested if similar applies in tc mode.

It's only been recently that mods even displayed resistance to a hundredth of an ohm so that's not necessarily a significant amount, depending on your baseline. I just compared several kanthal-built RDAs between my Joyetech eVic VT and Sigelei 75. Below 1.00 ohm, the Sigelei usual read 0.01 higher than the Joytech but on a higher one that read 1.45 on the Joyetech, it shows 1.49 on the Sigelei. Consistency is way more important than accuracy since a consistent resistance will received a consistent voltage once you dial in your preferred wattage.

Not good then consistency wise ;) As the the listed ohms increase, the percentage inaccuracy of the Sigelei 75w becomes increasingly greater compaired with your evic.

On the low end I would get 0.38 compared to 0.37. As a percentage, that's about the same (roughly 3%). I just mounted that 1.49 RDA on my standalone ohm meter and it's reading 1.52 so the Sigelei reading is in the middle. Who is to say which one is more accurate without testing with some professional equipment. Just drying burning a coil or soaking the wick with juice will change the resistance a few hundredths anyway so these differences are not significant.

I've decided that my issue was probably a combination of this being my first mod that displays the extra decimal place for the resistance reading, and the aspire triton 1.8ohm coils actually reading at around 2ohms not being untypical for this coil, based on early and limited anecdotal evidence.

Thanks for the feedback, detailed info, explanations etc.
