Got the 75w very quickly from pre-order, construction, everything was great. Especially noticed Ni builds got hot quick, if slowed down number of hits so as not to overheat, device would still get very warm. No big deal right? Well seems device I had when warm would kill battery quicker than I have ever seen. Ended up returning for refund, this must have been defect as did not get this drain on same tanks on two other TC devices that also got warm.

Hanging tight for now, back to kanthal until I decide on next TC device. Was too much work remembering what tanks I built TC. Really enjoyed TC and building with Ti and Ni. My solid TC device is VT, once get a second again will move back.

Just my experience with this 75w, wish it had worked better for my usage.

This is my 1st TC mod and I was not planning on temp control usage just yet, but I have a question.

I just realized I have been puffing away for a week in temp mode 75 watts/440 degrees on a Crown coil that is not Ti or Nickel (I believe Crown coils are just chrome/steel). I think because I toggled over and adjusted wattage I just assumed I was in power mode.

I kicked it over to true power mode (removing temp from the screen), works the same.

What gives?

Anyone have anything on this? Thanks.

Most people tell me I should carry a few spare batteries since I chain vape ... I'll let yah know in a few days... I'm expecting the Sig75 tomorrow...
But then again even with my rDna - I always carry an extra pair just in case...

That is good advice.. i started work at 12pm here put a new battery in at 11 am and had to change it at 230. So a few batteries would be good.

For reference I bought mine yesterday night so I don't have much exp wit it so far but I can say the flavor is awesome as hell. But using the subtank I feel it drains more ejuice and battery life than the 150.. it seems heavy also.. other than that I have no gripes except what I said above here.

For me, it's hard to say how long the battery lasts me. I'm using a Freemax Starre Pro on it with the stock 0.25 ohm nickel coil. I can chain vape the thing for 10 or 15 minutes and have the bottom of the tank heat up, and then it sits for maybe 15 minutes to half an hour before I vape on it again. I'm using a 2500 mah Sony VTC5 in it and the battery lasts me about a full tank of juice, give or take 1/2 ml. Yesterday I started vaping on it around 10 am with about 75% battery left, replaced the battery when I got the low battery warning, vaped that until I got the low battery warning, and swapped battery again last evening around 11 pm. Had to swap battery again this morning, so this means that for about 15-16 hours of use yesterday, I went through about 2-1/2 batteries.

What is your current build on your vector? and how bout your future nickel build?
I just spent the early morning hours today playing with nickel builds - first build with a 2mm - 11ish wraps 30 gauge nic dual coil on the vector... It was ok. I switched the coils to a 2.5 mm wrap spaced - 11ish wraps - (reads .06 on the rdna40 34watts 480f). While on the sig75 it reads .06 ohms settings are480f 37 watts - it's ok - I'll try some different builds when I get more quiet time

Vape safe

Just got mine from the mailbox this evening. It's a really well built thing of beauty. Smaller than I expected. Everything seems solid, doors fit perfect, no button rattles. I'm stoked to play with some nickel coils on my stm and a new wotofo sapor I just picked up. I even bought a couple of the new lg brown 3000mah batts to go with it. They should arrive next week...Happy days.:D

Been running a nickel coil since last night in my stm(1.5 tanks)@ .11ohm and 420 temp 33w. The sammy 25r is still going strong, 1/4 batt life showing. I'd have to say that this sigelei is doing better at batt life than my dna 40...I did take a short break so that I could do a carbon fiber wrap.

I don't know why I thought this came with screen flip, but it doesn't, no worries though. I love the ease of use and love the resistance lock, something my dna40 didn't have.

Still $55.99 at ecigavenue, another 10% off with code vape2015, free shipping.

Thanks, just placed an order. I love my 50w vr2. I've been using an ipv4 but would love to go back to something more pocket friendly.

Been using my vr2 again since I picked up a goblin. They're a nice pair. Battery life is also pretty decent with an HG2.

I also ordered a goblin mini. From what I read the 75w is also a little shorter than my vr2. So between the two I'll be back to a nice small mod that hits great.

My only real concern is that resistance can be finicky on certain attys with that spring loaded coil. I'm pretty sure that my lemo was the only device that I recall having that happen with.

I'm use tanks the vast majority of the time. So this device seems like it could be perfect for me.

Will this be a good box mod with a vector rda without a nickel build on it for now?

Wanted to try a TC box mod. Currently I have a Sigelei 100w plus with a Mutation x V4 on a 0.2ohm build.

How is the battery life on it?

Battery life really takes a hit once you start going at the higher end of the spectrum with my vr2. I can't imagine going above 50w with a single 18650.

You've got to remember that in a dual battery mod you're drawing half the wattage per cell at the same setting as a single cell mod. So not only are you doubling your watt-hours but you're putting less stress on each individual cell.

I haven't done much testing with current mods or batteries. All that I know is that with the old school 14500 box mods I started out with a single cell mod and would blow through two cells (blue trustfire) with a regular joyetech 2.3ohm 510 atty long before my work day was over. With the same amount of vaping I could get most of the day out of the same two batteries in my parallel mod. I don't know that the difference is that significant with current hybrid cells but it wouldn't surprise me if the comparison held up at over 50w.

it looks good - where did you pick up the wrap?

Im lookin real hard at a sigelei 75w tc. I keep going back and forth on it. Im sure the quality is great and ive seen a couple reviews on it so i know what i would be getting. The only thing stopping me is the battery life. With kanthal i build around .4-.5 and run at 40w but i have no experience with tc. I know i dont want a dual 18650 yet, i want something more pocket friendly. Right now i have two sony vtc 4's i can use and dont want to have to buy more. I also dont want to go around all day with more than one extra battery in my pocket. Can someone please push me to one side of the fence on this mod? I seem to be stuck. :p

I've gone back to my sig 50 vr2 since I started using my goblin. At 32-35w battery life isn't too far off from what I saw with my ipv4 with the same two batteries. I've been running lg hg2s.

You may want to pick up a couple of HG2s to be on the safe side.

I also noticed that I see no drop off in performance as the battery dies. I actually see that on the ipv4 towards the end of a charge. So thats a big plus.

I am interested to see how this performs with tc compared to the ipv4.

Don't be hesitant with this mod. Yes, I've had mine for only a few days, but the batt life in temp mode is sooo much better than I was expecting. In power, it should be ok for all day if you carry a spare. I think your vtc 4 are only 2000mah, but you should be ok. I would suggest to get at least one more batt to be on the safe side if you vape in temp mode. Lg has some new 3000mah batts, I have a couple on the way. I'm confident one would last me a whole day...And I got my Sig 75w for $50.35 and very speedy FREE shipping using the coupon code Iloveweekends from Sigelei 75 Watt Temperature Control Box Mod
If that's not a push over the fence, then I can't help you.

75w on 18650 is okay. dna200 is on 900mah lipo. should last 5 minutes.

I will tell everyone. so long as you do not spend more than $75. buy this.

Samsung 26R = 2500 mAh x 3.6 V = 9 Wh
3S 900 mAh LiPo = 900 mAh x 11.1 V = 9.99 Wh

Only an issue at high power & the LiPo will have more usable power as the current hold up better low down.
