I had a rep at sigelei send me those. I like the looks of it but sigelei doesn't have a great reputation for quality switch designs.

Yeah, and that's specifically what I asked for, shots of the switch tube. I looked at them for a good long time and I can only guess the tube with the button must have a post like the #8 (where the spring cup is) and pushing the button nudges the spring on the top or bottom cap against the post making the connection. But, I'm just guessing.
hi guys i have a sigelei #20. ive been very happy with it after i added the "hot spring" to it.. but today im having a issue.. its firing without me pressing the button.. its not like a complete fire. i noticed it because i had the top cap of my genesis off to recoil and theres some vape coming off of it.. ive tried it with different genesis and my kayfun and its all the same.. fires alone.. whats up with that? im looking down the 2 holes on the side and i can clearly see when i press the button the bolt makes contact with the other one so idk.. that seems fine inside..
You been using sub ohm on it bud? if so chances are you've fried it. Pull the bottom pin out and inspect the spring attached to it
That's the major flaw of the #20. The spring/pin connection looks like (see Below)
If the spring does not return to full vertical and disconnect from the atomizer pin the mod will fire at full or low voltage. I would not use it anymore until you looked into it and or modded it some way.

yup.. usually around .5ohms.. darn i was really loving it too.. how do i take the pin out? can someone point me in the right direction for taking apart the button
Just get some pliars and pull the pin out of the bottom, chances are its knackered, your uk right? Gary at Celticvapes sells a whole new replacement 20 head for six quid, he should be getting more in this week sometime :thumbup:

I'm interested to see how it compares to the Yiloong and EHPro Caravela clone. I sent them requests and pictures of the Caravela a month ago and both representatives I talked to responded with great interest in making one. Good to see solid posts and not horrible springs. One thing that seems kind of weird is the top is assembled in two pieces.

That looks sweet. If it's real wood around a brass tube and not plastic I'd be interested.
