Yepper... I've got an old POS Chromed Ody clone that I spent a lot of time & effort getting to work right...it will look PERFECT sitting on that Polished #13a.
Oh... made me go back and look at that #13!! I will pass this time. At the moment i have the #8,#20 and 2 #19's. 2 nzonic heads. 2 sg-1's. The terminator is great on the #8, seemless and my every were mod. I have to start going to mods anonymous meetings, court order from the wife.

I agree, I think Sigelei needs to make the top cap like the real Caravela and get rid of that ego connection. Who uses ego threaded devices on their mechanicals? The cap looks like the one on my #61.

Which mechanical Sigelei has a true ego connection? I was under the impression that they have a 510 connection and a deep well but no ego threading. Asking because I have the Sigelei vmax telescope and use EVODs on it now. If I bought a mechanical I would probably use RDAs on it but would be nice to be able to use an evod in case my vmax bit the dust.

To bad Im in Ohio...are you saying the shipwreck is the Sigelei? I would think Sigelei's Carvella clone would be cheaper based on the price range of their other mechanicals. My vape budget likes mods <$50 where possible.

From what I see on the pre-order on vapor tek, the 8W doesn't have a drip well. They just made the top cap super long for some reason. I don't know why it can't be the same thickness as the Nzonic head.

From other pics I've seen I think the top cap is two separate pieces. You can uncover the 510 connection to reveal a post with ego cone threading. Not sure on this but I think that's what's going on with the large top cap.

I had that in my cart 4 hours ago.. Then i realised, my #8 matches my terminator-c so perfect.. If i get the polished version, then i have to polish my term-c.. Oh, so many choices. Besides i have a #20 getting switch mod 1st!!

I really love my terms on my #8, #13, #19. I had one, bought another from Madvapes, joining a coop for another two. Shoot, maybe I should get a polished #8 and polish my extra term. Dammit!

I think it's thoughtful and insightful that they made the 8W with a top that would accept and EGO.
The more versatile, the better - at least from the manufacturers stand point; and quite a few users I bet.
I don't use EGOs so I don't care. I'd prefer a standard 510 short cap with a nice double adjustable screw just like the Chi You uses.
The single screw for the top cap on the Ehpro Shipwreck sucks. 510's are not all the same: one of my tanks will sit flush, where some closed end rba's will leave a big gap; having to switch that screw and readjust and keep the different batteries from rattling is a pita.

I wouldn't be surprised Sigelei was already making a shorter standard 510 only top cap for the 8W right now - as we type :)

I really do hope they are reading this: I wanna ChiYouDoubleScrew! lol

I agree with the center posts on most devices. Need to be flat for my gennies, raised for my ody's.. I am tired of making brass rods & using brass bolts. I just got a few of these to help out in a few devices.

drop in upgrade for my GUS22. lets see what else i can get this into. I do like my #8 OEM head, it is adjustable. using the sg-1, who needs a head. I would like to see the #8W. If the sg-1 fits, i will get one next month.

If you go to the Sigelei product page for the 8W, it shows the top cap as being in two pieces. Unscrew the upper portion & it has a true E-GO connector underneath:

Damn! That's exactly what I need... shipping cost more than the parts.

Dang... looking at that Caravela clone again was a BIG mistake... Yep... ordered one in 18350 flavor from Vaportek (and I just ordered a polished 13a from them this morning)

Now I have to find an engraver who can do a little sailing ship on the bottom.....maybe with "Sigelivela" in script too :D

Yes shipping cost me more then the 3 i got coming, but i want them. There has to be a US vender that carries them, still looking.

I've searched; I can't find anyone selling it; even something similar.
I only need one. Might have to order a PAPS to justify the shipping with it ;)

    LMAO! ^
I've ordered a Ehpro Shipwreck; Smok E-pipe; the 19B and 19E all within the past 2 weeks; now I have to order another???
....Maybe I can restrain myself and wait for your review NamVet68.

Hopefully Vaportek gets the shipping right. They messed up my order already.

Supposedly my 19E is in the mail (before my 19B - which I had pre-ordered a while ago now).

Anyone else get their 19B yet?

Vapor Tek USA is the nicest vendor I have ever done business with. After speaking with the owner John through email, he told me that he was going to send me a free Sigelei Caravela for helping him out on listing the mod. I also sent feedback to him about the issues we wanted resolved with the top cap and he forwarded it to Sigelei. What an awesome company. They definitely earned me as a permanent customer.

I also ordered a Sigelei #8 polished from them since they are currently the only vendor supplying them and they look freaking sweet! God, when will this purchasing stop...

So, I got my #20 working just as good as my KTS or close to it. For the time being, instead of ordering a new spring, I used what I have. Its either a 1/8" or 1/4" neo magnet. It is almost flush with the surface of the threaded area of the bottom cap. I know that a hot spring would be "safer" but for now, it'll do.
