I use my 20b with a 500 battery. There's only about a 1cm gap exposing the tele tube, and with some tape above the threads on said tube, there is no wobble.

Best design feature is how short it sets up. Only 79mm high with a 500 battery!

Hits every bit as well as my K100 with the only "mod" being some light sanding of the center pin contact points. Very pleased with this one (two more on order :) )

Turns out the button pin was not making contact with the post on my #8. I wrapped a piece on aluminium around the post until i find a better fix. Other than that this mod is pretty decent for the price. :)

Unscrew the button head from the firing pin and use some blue loctite. It will work and the button won't come apart.

Is it #20 or #20b? And how can you tell the difference? Difference in cosmeticly?

There is a V1 #20 and a V2. The V2 has a copper or brass hot spring (the spring in the bottom cap that makes contact with the neg side of the battery). That is the only difference as far as I know. Cosmetically it is the same.

The one ethebull posted is the V2 with the updated hot spring.

Just had a dead short in my #8 this morning with of all things...a pro tank! Brand new I might add! Anyone know where I can get a replacement hot spring for the #8? The spring totally collapsed.

I posted one a few pages back... Umm, I'm on my phone, gimme a sec.

Edit, here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=9599704

Double edit: I think someone linked to a 5 pack of them a few posts or pages after mine.

Those look very conductive... Will they collapse with a short, or just keep going...?

Which one did you order? I followed the link & it looked like they were charging $5.70 per spring.

Hopefully he ordered this one: Silver-Coated Beryllium Copper Compression Spring .228" OD x .036" Wire Size x 0.860" Free Length (Pack of 10): Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific . That's the correct OD. There was a different 10 pack linked a few posts after mine back on page 150whatever, that was 0.345" OD. That's TOO BIG. 0.228" OD is just barely too small, but a bit of twisting with some needlenose pliers quickly opens it up enough to fit nice and snug.
