I am too, after ordering that nautilus last night. :D

I'm still looking for a combo RBA/RDA tank, but the only one I can find that isn't polished stainless is the kayfun... and I just hate that driptip, which apparently is necessary, it's not a standard 501 driptip. All the others I've looked at, some of which don't even come with a driptip so of course they'll use 501 driptips, are shiny, polished stainless, which just wouldn't look right with the sigelei. :(

I think you'll be pleased with the Nautilus. I really like mine but had trouble with the first and the 1.6 coil that came in it. Once I switched to the 1.8, it was fine. They whistle a little. One has quieted down. The other is taking it's time.

If you ever see a pink glass, please let me know. I want that sucker badly!

Not one leak out of these and they look great on the bigger mods too.

When I get to it, I'd like to learn how to do single coil rebuilds for them. Rip has a great video for this.

You mean the nautilus? Should get it wednesday, since the cheapest shipping myfreedomsmokes offers is $5.95/2nd day priority. Any orders that come in over the weekend, before midnight sunday night, ship on monday. if you order after midnight sunday night, they consider it a monday order, and ship on tuesday -- so I'm glad I found and ordered that yesterday! :D

What to do with the button issue when Noalox doesn't cut it anymore???
I've had my V5 for about 4 months now; never over tightened, always been well taken care of, never dropped. I've had button issues before but they always went away with a good cleaning on the threads and a little Noalox. All of a sudden now, nothing seems to work... The black insert inside the button is still properly aligned and the LCD display is perfectly aligned. It's maddening to press the button and nothing happens, or some menu items is randomly being messed up, etc... I even used pressurized air to clean around the button and inside, to no avail... Any other ideas or is it just time for a new mod?

It's difficult to say. I ran into a similar problem today. I was driving back from the SF Bay Area tonight after Easter visits and my 5 month-old second generation V3 stopped working. It acted like the battery was low and stopped working. This happened after the V3 went flying inside the car after a stiff turn in the WRX. It didn't get a hard hit but it did take a bump on some door upholstery. I got home and put in a new freshly charged battery. The word Sigelei appeared after inserting the battery but nothing happened after that. It would not boot up again.

I'm using the 12 month-old first generation V3 now and have no reliable back-up unit now. So, I just ordered a new V5 from Desert Vapes a few minutes ago. I won't be without a working back-up unit. I'm scheduled to for an Internet disconnect this morning and had to act fast. It may be a couple of days before I have the new and faster internet connection up and working again.

I'm going to give the troublesome V3 a thorough test, cleaning and re-application of the magic balm Noalox tomorrow. If that doesn't work I'll set the Sigelei out to dry for a day or two in the CA sun provided forecast rains don't come mid-week. I may be tearing this Sigelei down for close look and repair if nothing else works.

I'll get back again after the new ISP is working for me. It may be several days.

I'm thinking of trying one, I was topd they are great, but I've always had problems with Kanger bottom coils. I'd always get dry hits and a metallic taste. I was told those are ss and so that metallic taste isn't there and the dry hits aren't a problem. I'm hesitant though bc they're a bit expensive (compared to my carto tanks) and I couldn't just get my money back if I don't like it.

Cudos to Desert Vapes!

We are all aware of the great prices on Sigelei APVs from Desert Vapes however you can now be assured of great customer service as well! I received a V5 with a defective 510 connector. It was replaced without effort and quickly. Hats off to them!

Idk how but I didn't realize their prices were that good! And they have the ss buttons?

Not sure it's stainless, but it does appear to be metal. At least on the v3. Seems very solid, no shaking or rattling like the vv3's, very solid click when you press it.

About the Nautilus... actually I'm pretty sure those are BDC... everyplace that sells them makes a big deal of the fact that regular Aspire BDCs won't fit the Nautilus, and even show a pic showing that the nautilus coil heads are much bigger than the regular Aspire BDCs.

But, about 99% of those I've talked to about the Nautilus swear that it's the best vape they ever had, and I really need something that can handle all this power from the Sigelei; I'm thinking that a lot of the problems I've been having with the T3S's are simply that the T3S's were never meant to top something this powerful, so maybe those huge BDCs in the Nautilus can handle it. At $28.95, I could hardly pass it up -- I was at a different site right after purchasing that $28.95 Nautilus, and their price was more what I've seen most places -- $39.95! :D

My newer V3 bought around Christmas is in a drawer for the same reason. I tried to order the same replacement button for it that I researched and installed for my older V3, but Digikey is sold out (450-2051-1-ND). I'm guessing enough people read my post on the button fix and ordered Digikey dry. Other websites sell the same button, but they are also sold out and/or you have to order a huge minimum quantity. I don't need 3000 switches nor can I afford to buy that many.

Anyway, I tried to find a suitable switch replacement on Digikey, and came up with two candidate switches that would work. The only issue is that they are not sealed against contamination. I guess I can live with that since the original Sig button isn't either.

Here's what I came up with if anyone is even vaguely interested:

Switch 1
EG4907CT-ND
Rated for 100,000 presses (not very good IMO)
Operating force is probably pretty close to the original Sig button "clicky" feel (260gf)

Switch 2
SW1278CT-ND
Rated for 3,000,000 presses (wow!) :2cool:
Operating force is less and is the same as the original replacement switch I used so won't be as "clicky" (150gf)

I guess the less "clicky" a switch is, the more button presses (lifespan) you can get out of the switch, which makes sense I guess.

I still haven't made a solid decision on which switch to buy, but I'm leaning toward Switch 2. It's won't be very clicky but the lifespan of the button is fantastic. It'll require being diligent about turning it off if I put it in my pocket so it won't fire by accident. I'm already used to that since my older Sig has the other replacement switch in it which requires about the same force to press. I just wish is was sealed dangit!

Try this tested & worked out for me:
Remove the battery hold down the firing button for few seconds to empty the charge stored in the chip release the button insert the battery & turn it on.

Pink, huh... I found a couple things that might do, but only marginally...

This one offers a lot of colors, the pink is quite a hot pink, but it's a polycarbonate tank (the image is linked to where to find it):

This one is aluminum, so you can't see the level of the juice, but they have a pink option (the image is linked to where to find it):

But these are my own faves -- the 3 rings on the first two would echo the 3 rings on the Sigelei nicely, and the frosted glass is just elegant, a lot more elegant than the advertisement/logo on the glass that comes with the Nautilus:

Hey fairmana, the omron one, they are a good company. I have experience with they're vfd drives In automation. These are still short right. Plenty of button travel I believe and a slight rattle won't bother me.

Vantage box - bottom cap gets real dirty so clean that out. Are you getting any heating of the body? Your board could be angled due to slipping which can cause button Issues. Lastly a switch replacement but seems kind of early for failure. Tear downs begin around post 837

Thanks for the info on Omron Jeremy. Makes me feel even better about selecting that switch.

Yes, the switch is a little short. The original Sig switch is 5mm tall, and all of the replacement switches I've been able to find so far with the proper body dimensions all seem to stick to 4.3mm tall. What I've done in the past is build up the underside of the clear outer button with hot glue and then cut most of it off evenly with a razor blade leaving behind a flat disk of hot glue about 1mm thick. I've found that 1mm thickness of hot glue is just right and removes the small amount of rattle that was there with the original Sig switch.
