I need to replace the button on my TMax V5. Where can I get some of these? They are smaller than the ZMax buttons.

Rick, I don't believe that anyone on this thread has ever discussed replacing a TMax switch, so you're probably the first to bring it up here. If you haven't done it already, you'll need to disassemble your TMax and get your switch dimensions so you know what to look for. Do you have a micrometer to measure the switch with? Mine was only about $20 bucks at Harbor Freight and it works great. I've had to use it many times since I bought it, so it was a great investment for such a low cost.

Once you have the switch dimensions, you can visit Digikey's website and do a search for "tactile switch". Get a drink and a freshen up the juice/battery on your sigelei, cuz you might need to spend some time looking over possible candidates. The search filters provided on their website can help speed things up and narrow down possible candidates (length-width-height dimensions, sealed or unsealed, operating force, etc.). If you feel like posting your switch measurements here, I can maybe help you do the research when I have spare time. Posting a photo might be helpful too, just to get a look at the switch. I'm assuming it's just like other switches I've seen that are like the Zmax button only smaller.

Well Dan, right now the Zmax is only capable of going 290 watts/ and .0001 NanoOhms , but the new V6 with the Tesla Flux Capacitor will be capable of 1-3 Kilowatts , depending upon your power source( as we speak Sigelei is collaborating with Generac regarding that matter )

That is as long as it's kept below 1363f ss melting temperature which the new chip in the add on Sigelei module provides. But most don't have a problem since their wicks turn to glass before then anyway. Pretty nice simple set-up don't ya think?

I'm not worried Dan , I ordered, from fastech a Plutonium 99 space modulator( Marvin the Martian on bugs bunny.....showing my age) so when it arrives before Christmas ill be the first to have it and showcase it with PBUSARDO at NASA headquarters , of course all current ZMax Connoisseur's will be invited

How's the airflow on the nuclear fusion on those? Any trouble keeping it cool?

Geothermal Aik, of course you'll have to vape in a large hole in the ground, but since you've had to sell your home to get one you'll already be in the hole , comes with ear protection as well to offset the Yamaha VMax power source.......its a Thermodynamics thing:)...........think im vaping too much nic this evening

A radioisotope thermoelectric generator (RTG) could be used to generate electrical power from a relatively small package. These have been in use since the 1950's. The Mars Rover Curiosity uses a MMRTG to generate 110W from a 10.6 lb. package. Still a little heavy for anything except a coffee table APV. Generates heat too, which could be useful for vapers living in cold climates. Uses plutonium-238 for fuel, so don't take one apart.
