Silver Bullet SB problem...

OK - Monday I got my silver bullet in and LOVE it. I am using it with the 6 volt (2 CR123A) protected batteries. This is my first 6 volt vaping experience. It hits like Ali, has huge flavor and works great overall. I have even had to go to a third of the nic strength. I do have one problem with it though. I have been melting the bottom of the cart. I try to let it cool completely and not get too hot, both for the atty life and also to help with not melting the cart. I also try to keep the cart lined up with the atty to help keep heat transfer down. Is the cart melt normal at 6 volt? Is there anything I can do to eliminate this problem?

I think its normal. I had this happen to alot of carts on my 5 volt box mod. I also have a Black SB and it does the same thing to the carts. I think some have said trimming the cart a little may help. The carts that have melted just a tiny bit on the edges don't seem to melt any further afterwards.

I have the same problem @3.7. Just line the cart up with the atty wick and keep going. As long as it's just a little melting, no big problem.

You could carefully cut down the cartridge a little bit to help prevent some of the melting of the cart. Use something sharp so you dont deform the plastic.

The other thing is try cutting down on how long you power the atty for...keep it from getting too hot.

Dripping tips rock and have the best flavor, no filler and work awesome run them on both of my SB's and all my GG''s, filling carts get really old

I sometimes don't push cart in quite flush with atty. Especially if it's been freshly filled. Works great, no burn.
