Hi,

I need a regular size Ce2 cartomizer, (30mm tube excluding threads - or same size as a Boge), with silver metal exterior to use in a tank. I've had Ce2's with the nasty black plastic plugs inside and want to avoid those. I'm looking for the white/clear inner plugs.

Would greatly appreciate it if anyone has a known supplier with stock. I have to receive them before the end of the week due to a planned trip.

ecig express has stainless Ce2's in both regular and XL. I ordered the regular and received them today. The endcap is the soft black rubber, but the seal inside is the clear / white plugs. They're Royal Smokers brand.

I bought them for a Phiniac pyrex tank and they're amazing together.

thats a good question. i was wondering the same thing. the other day i just come across a thread in another forum where somebody used a mega clearo from volcano for his tank and it was a real tight fit. I know as far as the tubing is concerned on the fluxo's from gotvapes that they are very durable which might mean they are a little thicker which would pretty much make it impossible to fit but i have never used a fluxo yet so i am not sure of the diamater of them. I have some old clearo's from volcano that i am going to try and put in a tank tonight when the kids are in bed. hopefully they work because i have another pack of five coming my way.

I have a pack of these~> 510 Ultimate CE2 Clearomizer XL I think they are the same as the Fluxomizers and they are too big for these tanks~> Pro DCTank Tube..I might be able to force it in maybe but I'm not trying..I bought a couple packs of the stainless CE2's that I pull apart slot, wash and reassemble for my tanks and the clearo's are for use with my 510 auto battery for when my hands are busy. The older CE2's clearomizers would probably work in tanks but they cracked pretty easy.

BTW the stainless ones from MVS are mix and match some having the black cup others having the white one..they must be phasing out the white rubber..they all have the black o-ring on top of the cup..that o-ring seems to work better because it's flat and has a channel to hold liquid. I know what you mean about the black rubber cup OP when one gets too close to the coil it tastes like rubber..but if you pull it away from the coil it is fine. I've only had to adjust one so far because of the rubber taste though.

The white cup does the same thing if it gets too near the coil but just doesn't give off as bad a taste as the black one. One way of fixing it is pulling the cup out a little but also you sometimes can carefully pull the wires that go through the ceramic with the CE2 apart and it moves the coil down a little..not too tight though because it can break the wire and the wicks can be against the ceramic too tight..once you pull the wire a little you can bend it over and it will hold the coil from moving up. BTW you could also take the white rubber cups out of old CE2's wash them and use them in new ones..I keep all my old CE2's for rebuilding and various reasons...

I have a similar dct from totally wicked. I am sure they are the same. I tried putting the clearos in one with ss end caps and in one that was just a cheap hard brittle plastic end caps and the plastic one broke but i was able to get it into the ss end cap tank without much trouble. I just lubed up the O-rings with pg and once i had it lined up it went in pretty good. The only problems i had was pulling the clearo back out and it pulled the plastic tube off the end of the clearo, so you have to have a pretty good grip of the plactic but the nice thing about ce2s is you dont have to keep sliding it in and out to fill. the other problem i see is that it will chew up the O-rings pretty good if you do take it out and back in too much but with the tank that i have which is probably the same as the one crispycritter has, i found the same one at madvapes and they sell the seals seperately too. i will probably order another from madvapes and a bunch of seals to go with it.

Other than that it worked great, i just cut a couple of holes in the mega clearo, one low and one high on the other side to help the air flow when filling and it worked great. This was done on an old clearo that was on its death bed so i didnt go to far with it. I have a pack of new clearo's on the way and will give it a full go with one of them and give an update. just ordered them last night so i probably one get them till the end of the week.

these are the tanks and mega clearo's i used.

***New Version*** MAGMA Re-fillable MEGA-Clearomizer - 5 Pack
Dual Coil Tanks

pretty sure these are the same tanks and you can buy some extra seals to go with it plus they are a lot cheaper than TW
Cartomizers
you can get just the tank a little cheaper at myvaporstore but if you want extra seals better to get in one spot and save the extra shipping costs

If you're just buying one tank it might be a good idea to only buy from one place to save shipping but I bought 8 tanks from MVS and 3 packs of CE2's..then I got my e-liquid from MadVapes spending enough at both places to get free shipping.

I started to use a Watts 1/4 in. Chrome-Plated Brass Self-Tapping Saddle Valve to pierce my cartos yesterday. It's a lot easier than trying to slot or drill because you don't have to worry about metal filings.

It might take a time or two to get the feel for exactly how big of a hole you want, but I can tighten, loosen, etc. all by hand without tools. I vape pretty thick juice, so I do need at least two decent size holes to make sure the carto fills and avoid dry hits.

Anyone can do this in just a minute or two. Now my husband doesn't have to get out tools etc. to make sure we have cartos for my tanks. Easy Peasy.

Do you guys think this will work with these?
I'm thinking of picking up a few of those tanks and would like to use those fluxos inside.

I've used the thin clearos inside a tank, but they're very fragile. Also, half the reason for a Phiniac is that you can vape any juice, cinnamon, acidic, etc. It won't affect the pyrex. Most other tanks will crack. That was my reason for looking for stainless rather than trying to use a plastic clearo.
