This is really nicely done- solid and even the paint on the cap is well done. I chose silver because there is no finish to wear off the aluminum maibody. Switch is replaceable- you get a new top with switch and connector for $5 if you send it in. Aluminum = light weight but this is fairly thick walled= sturdy. Did not expect all this for $25.Friendly fast email responses to all questions. I think this mod will last! I disagree with other reviewers -it looks great!

I wanted to order this a little while back and it was out of stock. Is the cap/switch assembly glued on or screwed on? Any soldering when replacing the switch?
