OK I've nearly given up and resorted to asking for help
I've been for the last few days trying to build this thing.
For those who dont know, the Silver Dog is a hybrid mech mod. It has a genesis style atty with a center wick design.
I've rolled 3 different wicks. I've tried pre oxidizing, oxidizing by juice or even dry oxidizing. I wash the mesh with dawn soap before rolling and wraping.
Heres whats happening. It wicks, it vapes. but it doesnt wick fast enough. after half a second, the coils begin glowing.
I'm using 6 wraps of 0.7x0.1mm ribbon, so it should be around 1 ohm.
Can anyone direct me to what I'm messing up here, or why its not wicking well? The wick isnt tight in the hole, its almost loose enough to fall out on its own. The coil is slightly tightr, but I can still easily push the wick through the coil if I tried.
