Silver Ego and Platinum Tornado with pics

I just received a Tornado so I thought I'd share some pics and give my initial thoughts.

First off, the platinum color looks very nice to me, almost the same color as my car. I think it would look really nice with a platinum metal mouthpiece though. I think when one of my TW attys die I'll make one. The attys are like Janty's attys, you get an easier draw then with the Joye 510s, I think the more I use these attys the more I like them better then the Joye 510s, this is with the cone placed on. I don't like the logo on the Tornado, looks kind of cheesy to me, I prefer simple designs that don't make some sort of statement. I think I might end up sanding it off.

I sanded off the logo on one of my TW batteries, there goes my warrenty

To me it looks much better, the color came out a little lighter then the platinum color of the body, I thought it would come out silver.

Why should I check it out, does it have something to do with the eGo or Tornado?

I like the Janty logo soooooo much more than the cheesy mr. wicked but $$$ talks and I ordered the TW version since you get the extra atty, 5 more carts and they have the 7.5% coupon code available.

I could not justify spending more over just the cool logo.

I almost wish I had not seen the picture lol!

Yeah, they definitely need to redo their logo. Now both my batteries aren't under warrenty

In case you don't know, it's much easier to sand if you stick it in a drill with an addy on, then spin it and hold the sandpaper.

I'm sure some people actually like the logo, it's all personal. I just would rather have something simple like the Janty logo.

Please keep in mind that no matter which color Tornado you have I believe if you sand off the logo the metal will come out the same color as mine(bronze/copper).

Maybe with a finer sandpaper you can keep it silver.

I agree with asidrave........If you don't like it, don't look at it. It's rather inconspicuous anyway. At least they didn't place it on the side of the barrel like some of their other models.

Inconspicuous is impossible with a ecig at this moment, I'm constantly having to explain and show the device. I don't need a little devil picture clouding their perception of the device. And I don't want the added attention it brings. Why don't you go around wearing a T-shirt with a little devil on it and tell me if you get more or less attention then a plain T-shirt. I'm a plain white T-shirt person, that's all I'm saying.

That is why I went with just the eGo that and the warranty.... Where I live little devils on ecigs would not go over well and as you said it is hard enough to explain the device as it is. Unfortunately the acceptance rate here is low as well with the latest bill in the House it has not improved either.
