have you found that the wick pulls up juice as you are filling?

Probably my favourite feature with the AGA series.

I certainly get a bit of juice 'up the wick' when I fill like this, but it isn't a big deal. I do this all the time with solid and hollow wicks. The solid wicks are slightly less messy than their hollow brothers when using this method.

When I do it this way, it's ready to vape the moment I finish. I do it with a very tight wick, (500 mesh, about 90mm, rolled SOLID). Tiny bubbles will percolate out of the top end of the wick as I fill, and a bit of juice will collect in a "doughnut" around the base of the wick. As soon as I stop filling, the doughnut typically absorbs back into the wick, and I'm ready to rock.

I also use an empty juice bottle to suck juice back out of the tank if need be in the same manner. It's not that I hate syringes....I just can't find any of mine right now, and haven't had another order since I got my AGA a week ago.

That's amazing. I meant to try it last night and then realized I'd already filled my needle bottle by the time I thought of it.

I'll give this a go later today. I thought sure it would be a messy proposition.

Wick in the video started at 1.5" x 3" 500 mesh, rolled solid, unmodified wick hole. Wick percolates if I fill it too quick, but doesn't get any on the plate.

Great tip. I bought a crapload of needle bottles and just use those for my "everyday" juices. The filling of a Genesis was only real PITA to me.

It is good to know though. its inevitable I'll have liquid in a plastic dripper bottle at some point.
