Never go back to analogs and always have an extra charger. Know where your local B&M is and when they are open. If all else fails, make sure you have a few disposables in case of real emergencies.

Everyone, especially new vapers, should make sure your nic level is comfortable for you (not too low as to be unsatisfying, but not so high as to give you the "jitters" or worse). Remember, you'll be using it much more frequently and continuously throughout the day than you may have smoked. You'll use it in the house, in the car, in the bathroom, mowing the lawn, airports (maybe even planes) etc. Plan your nic accordingly. Ok, that part is fairly obvious.
Also, everyone should start a plan to lower their nic from wherever they are in nic level. We all know we would be better off without it completely, but that won't happen to most of us for a long time. Here is a good tip though. buy your liquids from a vendor that will do custom nic levels. At whatever interval is comfortable for you (could be every month, couple of months, etc.) plan to drop your nic level no more than two points. At this rate, your body doesn't really notice. If you can go a month or two and then do it again, you can effectively drop your nic level quite significantly in a years time, giving you enough chance for some of the novelty to wear off and at the same time, dropping your nic. The key to this is to find your own pace that is neither too slow nor too fast for YOU, and to do your best to stick with it. I have easily gotten myself from 24mg to 16 in about a year, but I wasn't pushing too hard for much of that time. I plan to go much lower too. I have never had problems with any kind of withdrawal, except for the time that I tried to drop 4 points at once. If you are currently at or above 30mg nic, you really should consider this right away.
Lowering your nic will also help you get through the times when you just CAN'T vape for some reason. Like I said, you'll be used to using your ecig way more often than the "smoke breaks" many of us lived and died by. Aside from being good for the vaper, this is good for vaping in general. The less nic we collectively consume, the less risk to our overall population. The antivapers are going to use as much health related evidence against us as they can dig from the mud, so give them less to work with. I am still astounded at how little I really needed 24mg nic after comfortably dropping it to 16.

- the fishing gear aisle at Walmart has some great lure cases that are fantastic for storing mods, drip tips, tanks, and all kinds of your gear. Great for general storage at home, but are easily portable. Like $4 each.
- If you are a guy, get used to the idea of carrying a satchel, handbag, messenger, "man purse", or whatever. That is if you intend to carry more than just a single mod/battery. They are great for lugging your gear around and protecting it. There is no shame in a satchel as long as its serving a impose other than fashion

My local B+M has stuff I can buy (kits) at Fastech for $12......they charge $45
Their best "mod" is an Ego "C" kit.
My 13th (and worst by far) "Mod" is a 1300 Mah Vision Spinner. No way I'd ever go back in that place, all they have is stuff for a garbage can.

I've learned it is never dumb to ask about abbreviations! otherwise I would not know who half the vendors talked about here are
lol, even buying a big bottle of something you think you like can be a mistake. I was about to buy 50ml of a liquid I've loved for the past 6 months. had some the other day (I switch around a lot) and I don't love it 50ml enough anymore

At this moment I have a ProVari in one paw and a Vamo in the other. What volts/watts am I at? I have no idea - I would have to look at both of them. How is the vape? Lovely, they are dialed to where they taste good. Yeah, but if you change devices VW will stay at the watts you like. Yeah? So? And? Not only do I like different flavors at different power levels (v or w, whatever), I usually change it after I've been vaping awhile. I'm pushing buttons anyway...
Please excuse my rant. I recently got a Vamo, so I would be able to post that without getting flamed.
