Good luck with the clearos. I don't know if it's just bad luck or what, but I've had crummy luck with clearos. The Vivi Novas (not from fasttech) where alright, but I have gone to carto tanks with way less issues. At those prices it's not a huge risk though.

I learned that the fasttech carto tanks are regular poly carbonate, and that the cartos that come with them are 2.5 ohms and have HUGE precut holes in them. They did not flood with 100% VG though. Meh, not bad for the price, but not a wow.

Big precut holes like this? With the filler to about where the red line is?

The holes are exactly like that, but the filler is higher. The flange on the bottom is full-round with no flat spots (if that makes sense).

It still might be a CE2 carto. I'm not sure I drew the line in my picture is high enough, but the filler was lower than a Smoktech of Boge. I didn't realize the ones I got weren't regular single coil cartos and didn't have the best of luck with them.

Did you get them from fasttech?

The filler on these are the same height as my Smoktech XL single coil cartos. The Ikenvape cartos I have have a lower filler level to them and I also have to sand down drip tips to fit in them, but they vape great.

I thought CE2 cartos still used a wick and coil setup and not filler? But I just got into this a little while ago so I'm sure I'm not aware of a lot of equipment. Heck, I'm still learning to drip.

I got them from Vapor Phoenix. I'd never heard of a CE2 carto and was perplexed when I cut it open. My story of how I learned it was a CE2 is a bit long, but has pictures: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartomizers/383388-strange-carto.html#post8723282

    I had to Google it.

LOL! I'm amazed I figured it out!

I have learned that you can have 2 many tanks!

    Never!

make sure you get the lids on your juice bottles sealed well or you end up with a soggy (albeit nice smelling) purse.

    LOL! Thanks for the warning!

I've learned that the carto needs to be an 808 style for this to work. However, I'd love to learn I'm wrong, and a 510 carto can somehow be easily converted to a dripping atomizer also.

  Yeah, I know that now too!

Baby sloth so cute!! Must not have any more pets, must not have any more pets.

4 dogs, 1 cat, 2 turtles, 2 hamsters, 2 hermit crabs, 2 kids, and only one me.

I've learned that vaping keeps me happy, and a happy mama means a better life for all!

    Wowzer!

LOL I thought I was the only one who did that.

    Nope, we all do:D

Listen for a slight hiss at the end of the draw. You'll start to hear it before you get a dry hit.

    Not if you're deaf!

I've learned if you hit the "like" button too often it quit's working :(
I've learned that you can never "catch up" on a thread & just have to jump in somewhere & say Howdy all!

    Good friends, good times ;)

Stay away from the Provari threads, it will only make you want one when you can't afford it lol.

Absolutely! Don't be looking/dreaming of a Mercedes if you're on a Chevy budget! If you're at the Mod stage there are many many others that will perform damn near as well, if not as well, as a Provari for a whole lot less money...

    Great thread idea.

    - I've learned that anything outside of ECF is pretty much the wild west of vaping.
    - I've learned that it was much easier to quit smoking/start vaping than it is to quit buying new vaping products.
    - I've learned that hype does not equal personal satisfaction.
    - I've learned that SS mesh is too much hassle for me to deal with.
    - I've learned that I hate flippers/price gougers more than I hate ignorant vape haters... they should actually know better.
    - I've learned that keeping up with the Jones's is not all that it's cracked up to be.

I've learned that people can and do get second chances. ;)
Some will realize what they have here and mend their ways.
Mistakes are made but they are forgiven.
We are human. Well most of us, not to sure about Her Highness THE Ocelot.
Emoticons ARE your friend in a typed out society, sarcasm and joking don't always translate well without them. :)
I learned that people 'Like' things that, really, shouldn't be 'Like'ed. Eh Classy?

    Somewhere out there
    1. No matter what the issue, problem, question, someone on ECF has experienced it and has a recommendation.
    2. Listen to the vets, (what I did as a newbie) they may not have all the answers but they have been vaping longer and dealing with issues longer, so they have some good advice :)
    3. ECF is a great support group for all vapers, all ages, all over the world!
