Does anybody know.any tricks to get more vape. I got a mvp with a protank running at 5.0 volts with a 2.2 ohm coil. Not a variable wattage device so idk my wattage. Also coil maintenance tips would be nice. Go through coils like a crack head

Build micro coils and cotton in you pt and mvp. I prefer 1.8 with 30 guage, 8/9 wraps.

The above mentioned comment can help you achieve what your trying to find. You will need to get a grasp of OHMS Law if you really want to go cloud chasing.

By the way with the numbers you gave your vaping now at about 11 watts and 2.3 amps. How do I know you ask? Simple... I have an understanding of OHMS law, and I used this to verify my own math.

^^ I would like pics too! Ive done the "pull the top wick out" trick before, but never seen anything with a Q tip..

I just mean I used the cotton from a Qtip.

But ya, I replaced all the wicks - on top and inside the coil.

Just pull all the wicks out with some tweezers and replace them with cotton. pull a small piece off the Qtip, roll it skinny, and thread it through coil. You can use a needle or paperclip for an assist, but I didn't end up needing one.

The unit has a 3 amp limit so your highest power to ohms ratio is 1.7 ohms at 5v = 3 amps

Get more juice to that coil so it can handle more power.

I get 11.3W. That must taste like a burning tire. What about leaning towards more VG and less PG first?

You only get burning at higher wattage if you don't have enough juice flow.. The coil starts to dry out and taste burnt. I can run15w with no burnt taste if its wicking enough to keep up. A silica w/ cotton overwick can help but all cotton or hemp is th ticket. Just trickier to figure out density..
