I prefer pocket mods myself. One of the things I really like about the JAC is its ergonomic form factor: a hybrid between a tube and box mod. I prefer its slimmer form factor over a rectangular box.

Some shorter box mods are uncomfortable for me to hold. I have rather large hands, and their button placement often is too short to fire comfortably with my index finger. The JAC fits my hand and index finger perfectly; the rounded battery area conforms quite comfortably against my palm. I don't think I could have designed it any better.

And concerning the sensitive fire button, you can disable the fire mechanism with 5 clicks.

Different strokes for different folks. :)
Not picking at you here, Bad - but I am curious. I really like this mod, and love DNA, so I was really close to ordering a couple of times. I was on the fence about that length, but I've heard about that fire button SO many times. And I thought - well, I'll be constantly pocket firing, because even at the office, I keep it in my pocket a lot, and I put my mods in my briefcase, so it'll come into contact with something. Do you really go to the trouble to lock it with the 5 clicks, then unlock every time you put it in your pocket? Or is it not as sensitive as some say?

Oh, and @smoked25years - do you know any place that actually still has the NX75A? Only place I've found is Aspire site, and only painted versions.

I just got some a few days ago and there were hundreds available but it appears that they're gone now. That escalated quickly!

Ok - go here and be quick(ish) about it: online.aspirecig.com - they've dropped the price.
If that's not working, you can try Anyvape - Professional E Cigarettes Designer & Manufacturer | Aspire Official Partner. It's an oddball - you need to setup an account before seeing prices.

The fire button thing on the Jac DNA75? On the original (not sandstorm) version, it's a tad annoying - I always seem to handle it... delicately. The sandstorm - with its 25mm 'ridges' - feels a bit more secure in the hand, which weirdly (sort of) offsets the fire button thing. To be fair, it isn't hair-trigger/touch sensitive on either - just 'light'.

But everyone should have an NX75. :D

I'm currently using the Wismec P80. After I installed ArcticFox it's actually a fantastic mod. Err just don't expect to vape at 80w on a single battery mod without having a bag of batteries at hand :p

I did plan to pick up an evic after having used the legendary evic vtc mini for a long time, but the side stickers didn't exactly do it for me. I KNOW they'll fall off eventually. Well, no sticker stuff on the Wismec. I've been using it for 8 months now. It's been solid since day 1.

Yes I do. How much trouble is it to do five quick clicks? It has become second nature to me when I'm finished vaping, and this practice should be done with ALL mods that travel in a pocket.

Yes, the fire button is rather sensitive. It's one of the things I personally like about the JAC. It is perfectly safe to carry in your pocket as long as you disable the fire mechanism with 5 clicks. I can't imagine a situation that could produce 5 unintentional clicks within a second and a half in a pocket or brief case.

Agreed ... Better to be safe than sorry as you don't want your a*s burnt off.

Well, I know everyone seems to love their Jac's, and I can certainly see why. I guess I wouldn't mind having one as a "desk mod." But for me, who only takes about 200 hits a day, all spread out (I don't really do multi-hit "mini sessions") that'd be 2,000 additional clicks per day. :(
