Single coil mech build

Hi, could someone please advice me on what single coil mech builds they're running? I normally vape at <50W on regulated, so 0.3-0.45Ω is about the range I'd be looking at.

I've tried out a few things, but haven't really found much that hits right. Both exotics and round wire are welcome.

Ni80 26x3/38 5 wraps 3mm ID.
Depending on leg length the resistance will be at about 0.21ohm.
Although this coil hits a bit rowdy in the beginning, it performs quite well down to 3.4V.

Really can't say I'd recommend nickel for a mech unless you understand the safe temp limits and how to build for them.

Ni80 is an alloy of 80% nickel and 20% chrome.
It's even less reactive than SS 316l, so there shouldn't be a problem

Without doing all your homework for you. A SS 26ga (2) clapton rolled 2.5mm 5 wrap should put you around 0.30Ω, a 3 wire alien would be lower

I used SS 24g. I preferred round wire on mechs because battery life but if you’re using mechs you’re carrying batteries anyways and stainless because ramp up time is fast, be weary though when resistance rises you’ll get a different hit
