Is there such a thing?
My all day is a single flavor mix (cola(tri)) and I only make 30 mL batches at a time. It usually goes pretty quick. But I think I've noticed it starts getting sweeter at the end...
I've also noticed the smell of the vapor is AMAZING.

Has anyone noticed any single flavors that need or get better with steeping?

Most flavours, regardless of whether they're single flavours or mixture combinations, usually get better after steeping. Experience comes in identifying the difference between the steeping process improving the taste and scent, and where the steeping just becomes a long stretch of airing / oxidation. (at one point, it ceases to improve flavour and has a negative impact.)

As is most flavour-based discussion, this is my own experience and personal opinion. :)

My personal preference is either a 1 day air followed by a 2 week closed steep.
If I'm impatient, I'll do 3 warm baths in a day, followed by 1 week closed steep.

There's no "correct" way to do it. Play. Work with it. Get what you find is best.

Have fun!

Steeping is letting your juice sit and the flavors intermingle, and expand. Some of my mixes don't need it, and some do. I find berry flavors, strawberry, raspberry et al need a week or two to be at their full flavor in my 50/50 mix.

Flavorings I use from Flavour Art need at least a week to get to full flavor, doesn't seem to matter which, but that flavoring is very very concentrated and takes time to mature in the mix. I let them sit for longer if I have them on hand fully steeped.

Most of my Capella's flavorings I can vape right after the mix and they are fine then but even they are better later on. I just seldom have them around long enough to have that happen ;)

Slowly but surely I'm learning to plan ahead and make my favorites in 120 ml batches and leave them alone for a couple of weeks.

sorry , but can you explain how to steep ? what do you mean by `` letting the flavors sit`` ?
and how after you steep for week for example how you do you know when its ready ?

I mean I mix the juice, cap it off and set it aside to sit for a week. At the end of that week I drip some into a dripping atomizer and taste it. If it is not quite ready I let it sit another week, repeat the test and then if ready, bottle it up in smaller bottles to use.

Unlike many I see no need to force the issue with hot water baths etc. It develops at its own speed.
